Three weeks. It had been three weeks since the little staircase accident.
He and Haizaki had settled into the routine of being Strictly Neighbours. Haizaki received the occasional Polite Nod from Nijimura while he was greeted with the occasional Signature Haizaki Sneer. And, not as ocasionally as he'd like it to be, Nijimura would see the stream of beauties wading in and out of Haizaki's apartment. It was okay. It was alright. He didn't mind living out the rest of his days in an angry jealous 'Haizaki caused' tension as long as Haizaki stayed out of his business.
Nijimura also pretended not to notice that Haizaki had reverted back into his original Teikō hairstyle. Sure, it was a little longer, but Nijimura preferred as much of Haizaki version point one as possible. Not that it mattered anyway. Especially after the "dying daddy" thing.
