Second Night

When Yuki woke Zero had long since gone for his hunting duties and she started to think about Kaname. Tears started streaming down her face. He wasn't supposed to have left, he had promised her to be there but now who knew where he was? He had finally told the truth of his identity and then he left. Where was he when she needed him?

Zero had gotten up and headed straight to work. Guilt weighed him down, he truly was terrible. He distracted himself by hunting. Children had gone missing and his boss Toga Yagari was sure a vampire was behind it. He could smell him from here and broke into a silent run behind the deranged level C. Quietly Zero pulled out his Bloody Rose gun. Quickly he turned the corner and shot the vampire straight in the back twice. His body shattered like glass and floated into the air. The human child he had been holding fell to the ground and whimpered, Zero picked her up and brought her to the society. Now there was one less of the filthy beasts in the world.
