“Bradley what are you doing here??”
Her eyes were wide and she was staring at him. She was tightening her grip on her script which could rip it in pieces if she keeps it up.
“Why are you here?” she asking him again. Holding the script with both her hands now, she rolled it tighter. “Why-“ She stopped. Her eyes grew even wider because his hands sandwiching hers. She gulped. ‘What is wrong with me!?’ she thought.
She was so dazed that she didn’t realize that he was calming her hands so he could rescue the script. Slowly, he let it slipped away though his hand still holding her. “You need water? I could get you a bottle.”
She quickly pulled her hands away and stated, “I’m fine.” She took her script and just walked away, fast. Behind her, Bradley couldn’t help to suppress a laugh.
After walking as far away from him, Demi settle down leaning against a deserted corridor wall. She’s trying to breathe but one thing she has found extremely weird. Her heart can’t stop beating as if she has been running a thousand miles.
Suddenly, a bottle of cold water appeared of her face. She moved a back a little, hitting the back of her head in the process. “Oww…” Holding her head, she bit her lower lip in pain. She slide down the wall and sat on the floor.
“Sorry, didn’t mean that to happen.” The boy apologized. He kneeled in front of her with a bottle of water in his hand. “Does it hurt?” Bradley asked.
But, Demi didn’t answer. She was too busy holding her head.
“Demi,” he called. She still didn’t answer.
Putting down the bottle and his script, he reached out and pulled her hands away. She startled. “Don’t be scared.” He assured. “I’m just going to feel if there is any lumps, okay?” She nodded.
Taking her other hand away, Bradley let his fingers roam carefully behind her. Sitting closer to her, he did slowly so he would not freak her out.
‘Oh God… Oh God…’
She froze yet again, watching him there. She was not to concern about him to her head but she was too occupied with him being that super close.
He looked so handsome wearing the different colored fall’s uniform. Green with silver stripes tie and buttoned down white shirt with jet black jacket, he looked a prince. Only thing left is a white horse. Everything was in a slow motion.
Demi blinked her eyes, wondering why he was moving so slow. He was opening his mouth and moving it up and down. He’s opening it and then closing. He opens up again and closes it again.
‘Did he just say something?’
He quickly looked at her and his mouth moving again. But Demi couldn’t hear a thing.
‘Shoot!’
She starts beating hard again because he was moving closer to her with a concern look on her face.
‘Look away! Look away!’
She just couldn’t. His eyes… They are brown, a deep shade of brown. She’s hyperventilating now.
Demi? Demi? Hey Demi!
“Huh?” Demi drew out but suddenly, her head collided with his making a cracking sound. “Ouch.”
Bradley moved back, holding his forehead. Rubbing it, he said, “What’s that about Demi?”
“I’m sorry.” She managed. Seconds later, she began drinking up all the water that Bradley gave her, still breathing hard. “What is wrong with me!”
