Chapter 5: A little bit of fun

Parking by the bowling alley, Bradley quickly gets inside. The place was packed with people of 2 age groups: the teens and the adults. Mostly, teens were seen.

Searching the packed areas, he looked from the left then slowly to the right. As he walked to the reception and grabbed his bowling shoes, he headed over to the right side walking past an aisle where there was a group of girls cheering as one of them made a strike for the night. One of them spotted him and waved.

He waved back and smiled.

“Hey Bradley! Over here!” called someone at the right end of the bowling alley. David Henrie, already wearing his bowling shoes, was waving his arms about making a signal to his co-star plus buddy. Once Bradley was there, he pulled him by the shoulder and whispered, “I see you get the girls notice you. Nice dude.” His head was nodding at the girls at the next-door aisle. “If we win tonight, we might get a date with them, if you know what I mean.”

Bradley chuckled at David’s attitude and replied, “No, I don’t know what you mean.” Lifting his arm off his shoulder, he sat down and put on his bowling shoes.

“Okay,” David spoke up, clapping his hands together once, to get the players attention which consisted of him, Jake T Austin, Brandon Smith, Doug Brochu plus Bradley for the guys’ team while there were Tiffany Thornton, Chelsea Staub and Nicole Anderson on the girls’ team. The amount seems so unfair.

“This is unfair David!” Chelsea protested. “There are like 5 of you guys while we’re just 3.”

See what I mean.

“C’mon, we don’t have time to get some recruitment, just bowl!” David announced, setting up his game face on.

“We’ll go easy on you girls.” Doug said, standing up to picked up the bowling ball. “NOT.” He added. The guys laughed along except for Bradley who was too busy tying his shoe laces.

As Doug was ready for his first bowl for the night, shaking his legs and arms like crazy as if he was about to dive off the spring board, Nicole shifted seats and sat next to Bradley. She whispered, “Damn you and your irresistible looking dimples.”

“I thought he was being fair,” he replied.

“Well, he’s not being fair at all.” She stated. “I mean, look at him.” Both turned to David.

Right by Doug, David was giving him a short pep talk and ended it with a pat on the back before proceeding to the right where the guys sat. He was taking something out of his bag. It was a hand gear.

“See? He’s treating this friendly bowling game as if it’s for the gold at a worldwide championship.” Nicole let out. She grabbed his arm and pleaded, “Please, can you call Kelly and come here ASAP?”

“She can’t come.”

“Why not!?”

“It’s her shift tonight so she can’t come.”

“Darn it, we’re screwed.” She sat back and crossed her arms.

When Doug’s bowling ball hit strike, David cheered and jumped up and down. He’s rubbing it at the girls’ face soon after. “First strike of the night girls, be prepare because there will be more!” High-fiving Doug in the process.

“Damn you and your freakishly irresistible dimples!” Nicole added to Bradley.

He apologetically looked at her.

Meanwhile, somewhere along the streets of Beverly Hills, Selena and Demi were cruising and jamming to random songs on the radio. With Selena behind the wheels, she determined to take her best friend to some place where she could enjoy herself without dealing with anymore boy drama.
