13. The Ocean Waves

I'm down by the beach again,
The warm sand between my toes
And the sound of seagulls
Welcoming me home.

The Ocean waves crash
so loud upon the rocks,
Yet they don't bring destruction–
But infinite peace.

It's funny how something
So loud and so raucous
Can silence my fears,
And dry my tears.

Haven't updated in quite a while, but I've been studying for exams. Was forbidden from going to the beach till they were over, and now they finally are. That's where the inspiration for this poem came from.
