chapter 18

Joy's POV

I can't believe he agreed I didn't really think he would but he did and we were currently walking side by side to our wgm house. Not for filming but just so we could hang out, sort of like a date. After we had agreed to date in secrecy we managed to convince our managers to allow us to have the rest of the night to ourselves and as we walked back to the house we had grown awkward not saying anything to each other our hands were close but we were not holding hands. I really wanted to hold his hand but I couldn't get myself to do it. Almost as if he could read my mind I felt his hand wrap against mine. We both stopped in our tracks

"um is this ok?" He said shyly, it was almost like we were on our first date, which I guess we were

"yeah this is perfect" I replied he sighed in relief

"OK good because I kept thinking about it but I wasn't sure if you were OK with it" he said swinging our intertwined hands as we began to walk again when they reached the convenient store near the apartment we decided to go in a buy some snacks we let go of each others hands as there were many people in the store and we didn't want to get caught. We walked side by side picking up many junk foods and snacks which I knew I shouldn't eat but didn't care, it was only for one night we paid for and left the store. Once we were away from the store oppa took my hand again which led to a big smile on my face.

Once we were in the privacy of the apartment we relaxed some more as we went into the kitchen and plated all the junk food as if we were at a fancy restaurant. Sungjae oppa got his laptop and put on a movie as we sat there eating, watching the movie and enjoying each others company. After we finished all our junk food oppa took all the trash and cleaned up insisting that I sit down. When he got back he sat closer to me, closer than he was before "um this way we can both see the screen better" he said shyly I giggled and nodded as the movie progressed so did our level of comfort as we began to make fun of some of the characters and goof off not even paying attention to the movie half the time.

Once the movie credits started rolling we both paused our conversation and burst into laughter

"that was such a bad movie!" I said

"why would you put that on?" I teased him

"hey, hey ,hey." he said raising his hands up in surrender

"honestly it was the first one on my Netflix cue and I was so nervous when we got here I didn't really care what we were watching but I'm glad I got to sort watch this with you, it made it more bearable" he replied

"can I be honest?" I asked, he nodded

"I literally have no idea what we just watched like I don't even know the plot of the story" he chuckled
"same!" He held out his pinky

"let's make a pact to never watch this movie again" I linked my pinky with his "agreed"

When we were done making fun of the movie we went on his phone and looked through his social media and read some comments on his post which we both laughed at. We were so preoccupied that we didn't notice that it was 3am. We were alerted when my manager called and reminded me that I had practice early in the morning and I needed to sleep so she came and pick me up.

"oppa I have to go" I say as I take my belongings I looked over at him and he was standing there awkwardly

"um bye" he said walking over and patting me on the head which caused me burst into laughter he looked at me weirdly with his hands still on my head

"what's funny" he asked with a confused look on his face his adorable confused look caused me to laugh even more falling on the floor in laughter

"what?" He said chuckling along
