Eliza Burke never believed in soulmates.
She had told herself this over and over again for the past however many years, and yet everything had felt right up until that point.
William had tried to keep her from going home, but she wasn't sure why.
And when she entered her apartment and saw her two best friends lip locked, Kendall's shirt tossed onto the ground and her arms forceably wrapped around Chance's neck.
Chance Stevens had believed in soulmates.
He had filled her mind with fairytales.
He had sworn to her that if anyone were soulmates, it would be them.
Eliza Burke hated being wrong typically, but in this situation she hated being right.
She wanted nothing but to be wrong.
But her eyes weren't lying, and the subtle pinching of the skin on her thigh proved that it was no dream.
Her eyes briefly met with Chance's right before she turned and slammed the door.
a.n.--as previously stated, it has been 2 years since i've been on Wattpad, and therefore I've lost all of my book notes. however, I only had like 4 chapters left, so lets finally tie up these loose ends.
