I looked down at the counter at the piece of paper this apartment was mine now mine I couldnt be happier I finally could breath I could finally feel safe I went into my room and pulled the covers over me and fell off to sleep I woke up the alarm buzzing at me I groaned and rolled over to turn it off I got out of bed and the chill of the hardwood floor woke me right up I hopped in the shower and put on my outfit and brushed my hair and teeth I got in my car and drove to school I piled in the classroom like a zombie
“are you okay?” Matt said
I groaned and put my head on my desk the teacher walked in and I sat up we were half way through class
“Okay your project over the weekend is to meet up with your partner and fill out this sheet finding out about the person maybe youll make a new friend” alaric said
“do we get to choose”someone Said
“No”
“Bennet,Smith...Gilbert,Lockwood.....Forbes,Salvatore....Donovan,Petrova.......Mikealson,Young...”he kept going on and I tuned out
“so my place or yours” he joked I laughed
“well since your spending the night anyways lets just do it at my place over the weekend”
the bell rang
i get out in the hallway and want to collapse
“wake up sleepy...That was only first period”
“why hast thou forsaken me to a deity to which I doubt”
“haha what”matt said
“nothing”i sighed and went through school the whole day
me and him went to stand outside the school
“im gonna head home get some stuff for our overnight weekend thing”
“Kay you know where the key is”
“yup” he said
I got in my car and drove home I got inside locked the door back and immediately fell asleep on my couch not even taking off my backpack
I woke up to the smell of chinese I opened my eyes to see matt and I on my bed he must have carried me here
“hey sleepy” he said
“hey matty..how long have I been asleep”
“it is now 6”
“i feel so rude why didnt you wake me up”
“cause you needed the sleep babe you could barley stand in school today”
“yeah thanks”
Wait did he just call me babe
he handed me a box and a fork I took it and ate my chinese food
We talked for hours we cleaned up the food and somehow ended up watching Scream in living room when Drew Barrymore was stabbed I jumped into matts chest he chuckled I could feel his body rumble with laughter he put his left arm around me and stroked my hair
“can we not watch this one” I ask sheepeishly
he chuckles again
“Anything for you”
“real life is just to scary already”
