So this was what it was going to be like. To die. To die in front of the one person I loved more than anything, the one person who has always been there for me, who has saved me from horror, and now, I was going to leave him in this world, alone.
"I'm sorry," I whispered as I lifted up my head once more to see Peter as tears ran down my cheeks. I didn't want to die, not like this, not with him standing in front of me held by two guards.
"No! No don't say that! No!" he yelled, tears running down his cheeks too.
I looked at him one last time, took a deep breath and everything went black.
But I was not dead...
