After I put on my shoes, I leave my room and leave the main building, the sunlight feeling warmer than usual. Now that I am not in a rush, nor am I panicking as much compared to the past few days, the wind seems to caress my skin as I continue to walk, which is a nice change for once since the wind seemed to whip around me for the past week. Then again I was always moving rather quickly.

I enter the first and second year residency and head straight to the dining hall, ignoring the people who are whispering to each other about me. No doubt, they are curious as to how well I would do against Elizabeth and how I will deal against magic. Also, it would be something interesting for them to see.

After I get my breakfast I sit down at the table that has Lily, Brian and what appear to be, other first year students.

“Hey,” I say.

“Hi, you seem to be in a good mood,” says Lily.

“Yup, today is my relaxation day. It feels good to not have to worry about how prepared I am.”

“Do... do you have a plan to take down Elizabeth at least?” says Brian.

“Nope, I need to see Elizabeth’s abilities if I am to come up with a plan,” I say.

“Oh... will you be watching the fights that occur today?”

“... Yes. Now that I think about it, I need to scope out the battlefield. Thanks for reminding me Brian!”

“No problem,” says Brian with a small smile.

“So... Lily, can I ask you something?”

“Sure, go ahead,” says Lily.

“Even if I may offend you?”

“Even if.”

“Alright then, why are you sitting here with Brian, why not with your friends?”

“Well firstly, someone has to protect him from Elizabeth and her brother, Richard. Secondly, people are too damn scared to befriend me and there are two reasons for that. One is the fact that I am a member of the royal family and the other is that I am the second highest ranked student,” says Lily.

“Why are people scared though?” I say.

“The main reason they are scared is because people challenged me to a duel in hopes of gaining fame for their family when I was a first year. This was during the very first week of school and seeing as how I didn’t really come off as a violent person, well the challenges built up to be quite a large amount. Needless to say, I defeated every single one of them without too much of a problem.”

“Huh, I wonder if people would be scared of me if I defeat Elizabeth.”

“Hah, it’s more like the opposite will happen. They will treat you like a hero since you defeated someone who can use magic when you can’t.”

“Jeez, I can’t tell if that is bad news or good.”

“Why would it be bad?”

“Because. I will need to deal with Elizabeth’s brother and other bullies.”

“Not really, if Richard fights you and win manage to win, then all of the females in this school will adore you since Richard is currently the strongest male in the school. Also, if you can take down Richard then you can definitely take down the other males at this school.”

“What rank is he anyways?”

“He is rank twenty-four, which is the highest rank a male has gotten for the past few hundred years.”
