Just like the past few times I either passed out or got injured, I woke up inside the clinic. There was no one else in the room when I woke up so I had nothing else to do but wait for someone to come in or to fall asleep again.

After a few minutes however, I found that my back was feeling a little sore when I try to change positions, preventing me from falling asleep.

It took some time but the nurse eventually came in to check on me. After some inspections and informing me what happened, she gives me the okay.

Apparently when I was shoved through the window, some glass embedded themselves into my back, which explains why my body became numb so quickly. Of course, this also means that the shirt I wore for sleeping is ruined and I will need to find a substitute until I can get it replaced.

Since it seems that no one has brought me any clothes or shoes, I test out the temperature of the floor before leaving the clinic. Seeing as how I cannot exactly walk on over to the residence, I am forced to fly myself there. It is a bit of a pain since the extremely cold winds are practically lashing my face, but it is a better option compared to walking through the snow barefoot. While there is that drawback of all the cold being focused on my head, it was, thankfully, short.

Unfortunately the window of my room was already fixed, preventing me from taking the easier route.

It takes a few minutes before I reach my room and I immediately notice that a quarter of the door is still burnt. Inside, the bed is a bit slanted and the desk is missing a chunk of wood on the front of it while one of the doors on the cabinet is broken inwards, barely hanging on thanks to the hinges.

Somehow, throughout everything that happened yesterday night, my clothes and satchel had remained undamaged. It is good though because now I don’t have to feel bad about Cecilia buying me even more stuff.

Strangely enough, there is an unmarked letter on top of the desk. I highly doubt that the assassin would leave it, so that would mean that it is probably from Cecilia. The fact that she did this instead of telling the nurse to pass it on means that she does not want anyone to be aware of the talk that we will be having.

Opening the letter, I take a quick glance to see that there is only one word and no signature.

Come.

Go where? Lily's room? Diana’s room? There is only one way to find out so I decide to go to Lily’s since it’s the closest.

After going to the bathroom and changing into a new set of clothes, I head to the top floor.

As I go, I encounter no one, which makes sense considering that most of the guys are very lazy due to being pampered for most of their life. Well, that and the fact that they are basically set for the rest of their life. Even if they get kicked out, they can still get a job that pays well enough that they will not have to worry about money.

Surprisingly, Lily’s door is not locked so I am able to walk right on in. Then again, I suppose it is because no one would be stupid enough to attack a member of the royal family.

What I see is similar to a sleepover.

Brian is passed out on the couch while Lily, Diana and Cecilia took the beds. Lily is asleep in Brian's bed while Cecilia and Diana took Lily's bed. Not wanting to disturb their sleep, I take one of the chairs at the dining table and sit myself by the fireplace.

As I stare into the flames, I can’t help but go thorough what had happened yesterday step by step. It all happened so damn fast that all of the details seem iffy. Now that I think about it, did the guy actually deflect my attacks? I mean sure, I saw them flying off but some of the trajectories don’t make sense. I was panicking while attacking as fast as I could to force him to back off at the time, so I could have easily missed something.
