I Messed Up

"Ugh."

Mason peeks over his computer "Hey Ki, what's up?"

"Oh nothing."

"What did he do?"

"He didn't do anything. I mean I'm angry at myself more than anything."

"What happened?"

"He went down on me and..."

"Pause there and you are mad about that why?"

"Because he tricked me with some deep conversation and then did that."

"Again why are you mad?"

"Because he did that just so I would loosen up for a presentation."

Mason frowns "Kira that can't be true, I mean that is stupid."

"No he even lied to me about his girlfriend having a bad memory or whatever."

"Come on I don't think even he would lie about something like that."

"You're right but I'm still pissed at him."

"Was it good?"

"Mase that's not the point."

"I know but just answer."

"It was but I'm never letting it happen again."

"Are you just in your own head too much because of what happened?"

"Mason..."

"Look I know you're old boss was an asshole but Scott isn't like that."

"How do you know?"

"Because I've known Scott for a long time and I know he likes you."

"What do you mean you've known him for a long time?"

"I went to high school with Scott."

"Oh.."

"And even if I didn't I see the way he looks at you it's like he..."

"What?"

"Like he loves you."

"How could he love me? We barely know each other."

"Maybe he just fell in love at first sight."

"No one especially Scott falls in love at first sight."

"You don't know everything about love."

"I guess you could be right but I don't know how I feel about him right now."

"Well talk to him when you're ready because I have a feeling that him doing that wasn't about some presentation."

"Alright. He is probably pissed at me for thinking he was shallow."

"I don't think Scott would be too mad for long especially at you."

"No I shouldn't have assumed that after our talk."

"Kira I think he..."

"No he should be pissed at me."

"If you say so..."

Kira picks up some papers and starts doing work "Yeah."

"Come on Ki, it is quitting time."

Kira looks up from her papers "Did Scott leave yet?"

"No he has been in office all day and I think he is working on the hotel thing."
