"Do you two have to be so flirty?"

"Do not start right now."

"Ooh someone is pissed."

"I'm sorry Mase I just can't stand the guy. I could sue him for sexual harassment."

"So why haven't you?"

"What?"

"If you hate him so much why haven't sued him?"

"Because I'm close to Boyd and I wouldn't ruin his business because of Scott."

"Alright then because I wouldn't want to be stuck here without my sidekick."

Kira sticks her tongue out at Mason "Hey you're my sidekick because you're younger."

"But the cooler one is always the hero."

"Thanks for helping me to further my point."

"Ki, it's okay you are the responsible one."

"Whatever."

"Work party!"

"Yay."

"Cheer up. It is free dinner and drinks."

"We told Malia that she could hang with us tonight."

"Bring her as your plus one."

"What about Chris?"

"Never bring a guy who you are not dating to a work party. It is a lot of pressure, trust me."

"Alright it will be cool to hang out for one night and we don't have work tomorrow so I can drink a little more."

"No I'm picking your drinks tonight because you aren't drinking virgin Pina Coladas tonight."

"I don't always drink that."

"Oh excuse me you only drank a martini once."

"I can't really hold my liquor well and I don't want to look bad in front our bosses."

"First Erica and Boyd are going to be on each other all night and Scott will probably drunk so don't worry and I'll make sure you don't get drunk."

"I'll think about it. But that's four hours away."

"I'm done with my work for now but you are my ride."

"I'm trying to start some work for next week."

"Kira these are reports for next Thursday."

"I like to be prepared."

"Things could change so it's okay if they aren't all done."

"I know. I need to focus on the balance between personal life and business."

"Yeah let's go." Mason pulls Kira up from her chair.

"Wait let me just..." Mason pulls Kira away from her desk

"Come on girlie I have to get you and Malia ready for tonight."

"Ugh fine."

Kira and Mason arrive home thirty minutes later

"Hey guys." Malia calls over the music she is playing.

"Malia, turn the music off!" Mason screams

Malia turns it off "Sorry."

"Did you start getting ready without me?"

"No I just showered." Malia calls from her room

"You go shower missy, I need to deal this one."

Kira laughs "Okay."

Kira loves Mason but he can be such a drama queen sometimes. He always demands to dress the girls whenever they were going out because they asked him to when they were all in college. It was like he permanently assigned that position to himself. Even though Kira didn't like Mason trying to tell her how she should be more open she knew he was right and even if he wasn't she would never hurt his feelings.

(5 minutes later)

"Kira I picked you out the perfect outfit; a small strapless red dress."

"Mason I don't know."

"It's club appropriate."

"This is still a work function."

"But we aren't out recruiting or wowing clients and who knows this might bring clients." Mason puts the dress through a crack in the door "At least try it please."

Kira grabs the dress "Fine." Kira slips into quickly and opens the door "It's cute."

"It's hot please tell me you are wearing the matching red lace number under it."

"I am but who cares no one is going to see it."

"Yeah sure."

"You look handsome Mase. Is Corey coming?"

"Yeah he's meeting us there."

"So what is Malia wearing?"

"She insisted on black floral shorts and a cute white top. She looks good too but I'm going to break her no dress policy."

"Good luck with that."

"I guess I'll need luck with her."

Malia walks into the living room "I love this outfit it's so comfy."

"Mase seems to think he's going to get you out of the short phase."

"If he thinks that then he's stupid."

"Hey I'm in the room still."

"Sorry Mase." Malia kisses his forehead

"Yeah what time is it?"

"It's only... seven thirty."

"Where did the time go?"

"You girls are so high maintenance."

"Should I wear my hair up or down?"

"Down obviously."

"I mean she acts like that was a question."

"Hey hey who is driving?"

"Uber?"

"Yeah."

(10 minutes later)

"I think this is the place Herst."

Malia groans "This seems fancy."

"No I've been here before it's almost as bad as Chico's."

"Mason where have you not been?"

"Is it my fault that my boyfriend likes to party?"

"Mason do not put all that on Corey, you like to party too."

"Well let's see what this has to offer us because Kira is getting drunk tonight." Mason exclaims
