I sit there in her room. Watching her silently. She wiggles and squirms.
*knock knock*
"Come in" I replied simply. Not taking my "eyes" off of my precious daugter.
"She's human. Why are you keeping her?" Ticci toby said as he entered the room.
"She has potential. Soon she'll be kicking your butt. Besides. Sally needs a friend other than Jane."
"Like what? All she has is a cage for a mouth." Toby said as he raised his voice.
"Toby, you'll grow fond of her soon." I said simply picking up Max and placing her in his arms.
Toby Pov*
*I guess I could become fond of her*
I continued to bounce her in my arms and she suddenly woke up.
I started to get worried... but she giggled. She reminds me so much of her....

I saw Toby smile at Max as a tear slipped down his cheek.
