Striker had gotten sick early in the morning, he never did get much sleep and I wondered how he lasted this long anyway. Heck, I’d never seen Striker anywhere else besides behind the wheel. Luckily, it was just a cold and with Eliza, he was surely in good hands. Captain Nyle took over wheel, but as I watched him study maps with a puzzled expression on his face, I wasn’t too sure we were going I in the right direction.

Eliza and Striker seemed to get along well and Striker actually spoke to her. If he didn’t see you around, he would talk to her about stuff even though his voice was still really soft and deep. You could definetely hear him laugh though. Striker’s laugh was really hearty and from the stomach, but he only seemed to laugh at Eliza’s jokes. Whenever I ‘eavesdropped’ on those two, they seemed like a happily married couple. I wondered if that was what my mother and father were like when they were still around.
