I flinched but stood up, kicking the wooly covers off of my legs.

"What are you doing here, Gabby?" I yawned out, stretching my arms behind my head.

He cooed at me.

I pouted, pointing at him accusingly. "Hey! I'm the one who's suppose to think your cute, your shorter!"

"By an inch!" He yelled, smacking the back of my head. "Respect your elders!"

"I didn't know you were a thirty year old midget," I muttered.

"You know what I mean," Gabriel said, "I'm almost a year older than you."

"Almost being the key word!" I grinned, dancing before I tripped over my rug and fell back onto my bed.

"You're such a clutz," Gabby exclaimed looking at me in amusement.

I stuck out my tongue at him but then paled at the calendar.

"I almost forgot, I have a date today!" I yelled, facing Gabriel. "Why didn't you tell me?!"

"I tried but then I'm midget so -"

"We don't have time for your elf issues! He'll be here in thirty minutes!" I cut him off, "Help me!"

"You called me an elf," He said, "So... why should I help you?"

I whined, falling to the floor holding his left leg, looking up at him with pleading eyes.

"Because out of the bottom of my heart, I'm modeling for you?" I whimpered, pouting at him.

He looked down, trying not to look at me and keep up his proud expression before whining.

"Fine," He groaned. "I'll pick an outfit and scram before he gets here, got it? Call me if you need anything."

I nodded eagerly before he left for my closet muttering "drama queen". I let it slide, I mean, he IS helping me!

I hold my stomach, I wish it'd stop! Those butterflies are at it again. Fluttering throughout my stomach, making a feeling clutching my insides. Just calm down, Kris! It's just a date. Yeah, MY FIRST DATE EVER.

Gabriel left about five minutes ago so now all I can do is pace around, gripping my stomach. I breathe deeply, trying to calm myself but I can't.

I jolt as the door bell rings making my eyes widen before I take a deep breath and open the door.

Tate's brown hair is longer now, going a little past his ears. He smiled down at me, being almost as tall as Tyler, probably around six feet or so.

He wore a white dress shirt, a few buttons down so you could see his ripped chest, khakis covering his legs, a black slick belt holding them up, and a pair of dress shoes.

"Checking me out already?" He smirked.

I blushed. "Wha - me?! No!"

He grinned, handing me... flowers?

"You didn't have to." I mumbled, looking down at the pretty red roses.

I smelled them, they're real!

"Yes. I don't give cuties fake flowers from the dollar store." He said, "Your worth way more than that."

I blushed brighter, a anxious feeling shooting down my stomach. Did I say that out loud?

"What do you think?." He answered, grinning.

"Yeah! Uh... thanks for the flowers," I looked down before stepping back a little to put them on my kitchen table.
