Soul's P.O.V

Well, isn't she the cute one?
I've lost track of things again. How did it come to this again- when did this all start? My phone, I got it back just a while ago. So, why am I still here? There's no way to escape the awkward position I'm in now. I formed a human bridge over Maka laying down- no, I pinned Maka down under my bridge. Her legs were planked loosely forward as my knees latched onto her thighs tightly, trapping her for the moment. She's in a vulnerable state and I'm at an advantage. If anyone saw me now, I'd be pressed on for child molestation. There's a weird feeling in my stomach, making me vomit out laughs and gross snorts here and there.
I'm having fun.

Something I haven't had in quite a while.

"Oi," I nearly whispered in the same tone as the room right now, staring back into each emerald iris. She was blushing a bright red, as warm as my own eyes- enough for me to see her cherried face without my eyes' special ability- and it pierced vibrantly through the solid darkness.

"H-hm?" Was her uttered reply. I can't blame her for being unable to speak right now, I'm thinking more than I should be and I can't find a way to brush my thoughts away this time.
I shouldn't do this right now, things are happening too quickly... I don't want either of us getting hurt again.

I leaned in closely to her warm face, causing my cheek to slightly brush against hers. I laughed on the inside, imagining her facial expression as she gasped a little.

As my lips reached her ear, I whispered "I think we should go." She calmed just a bit, "Butthead, let's find-"

"SHIT, I DON'T HAVE MONEY PATTY!!"

I heard an annoying familiar voice.

I hate life.

The lights went back on.

"Shut up and pay up! I told you they'd do something dirty!~" I heard yet another annoying, familiar voice laugh, followed by a defeated cry.

With everything coming to realisation, Maka grabbed me by each cheek I had and threw me aside.

Although it hurt sliding across the wooden floor on my face, her throw gladly covered up my embarrassed, blushing face.

Thanks Maka.
