As I was getting ready that Saturday morning, rain pouring outside, I thought of the night before with Matt.

He hadn't noticed that I liked him which was good but he liked me back. I smiled to myself and grabbed my last bag.

"Who's going to stay with Hayes" Nash asked the person on the other end of the phone. I grabbed a bottle of water and sat on the counter.

"Okay, okay, you sure, alright, call you when I land, bye" Nash said before hanging up. He looked up at me and let out a sigh.

"mom forgot about Magcon and had to find a babysitter" he explained, finishing his cereal. "Don't you think Hayes is old enough to be on his own" I asked.

He looked up. "yes but he's also old enough to know how to throw a party without us knowing" he finished.

I nodded, checking my phone. Casey had texted me. I texted her back, "so" Nash said. I looked up, "so what" i asked.

"who's the guy who was with you the other day" he finished. I blushed, "he's a friend" I finally said, taking a drink of water.

Nash nodded, "cool, lets just make sure his friend stays in his pants" he said, walking his bowl over to the sink. He rinsed it and put it in the dishwasher.

I choked on my water, "Nash!" I said. He chuckled, "just saying". He sat back down in front of me. My phone buzzed and it was Casey.

"What you doing" she asked. "I'm with Nash right now" I said. "Tell him I said hi" she responded. "Casey says hi" I told Nash, not taking my eyes off my phone.

"who's that" he asked. I put my phone down, thinking that this would be a good time to make a good impression of Casey.

"she's one of my friends, she's really sweet and smart" I said. Nash looked at me, "have I met her" he asked.

"yes, well kinda, she was with me on Thursday" I said, trying to remind him. He thought about it for a second.

"oh I know who she is now, yeah, she's really pretty" he said. I smiled. "she is" i agreed. I texted Casey back.

"someone thinks you're cute" I texted. She responded in seconds, "no, seriously! what ! OMG !" she responded back.

I laughed then checked the time. "calm down, I have to go but text you later" I texted. She sent a smiley face.

"It's time to go" I told Nash. He looked up at me then back his phone. "True, lets go" he said, pushing in his chair.

I pushed in mine and followed him to the door. I turned and locked the door before getting in the car. It was still gloomy out and chilly so I grabbed a hoodie.

Nash got in, starting the car. He rubbed his hands together, cold too. "Let's hope San Fran is warmer" he said. I laughed as we started driving.

"Did you find out anything about the new guy" i asked Nash. "Not very much, I know he's big on vine like us but that's about all they told us" he responded.

I sighed and looked out the window. Our town was small and it was strange going to big cities sometimes.

We finally got to the airport. We went through the process and got on our plane. Nash's seat was in front of mine.
