Chapter 2

The rest of the period was fun. We got to work with partners and Matt and I obviously picked each other. "No you didn't" I said, as Matt told me a story.

"yep, I did" he said, writing down a problem. I laughed. "Okay so number 15 is 14.5" I told him, writing it down.

"I got 10" he said, confused. "You forgot to add 4.5 idiot" I said, pointing at the problem. "Like I said, I'm dumb" he responded, changing his answer.

The bell rang and we got our stuff, heading out the door. I walked upstairs to my next class. "Erin!" I heard someone yell, I turned to see Matt running.

I stopped as he finally reached up to me, out of breathe. He took a deep breathe and looked at me, "I need help" he said, giving me his schedule.

He stood next to me, "where's 201?" he asked. I looked at my schedule. 201. I looked at him again, " I have 201 next too, just walk with me" I said.

"Okay" he said, walking with me down the hall. "So where are you from?" I asked, to break the silence. "Virginia" he said.

"Cool" I said, walking into our next class. Everyone looked at Matt and I as we sat down at two desk next to each other.

A couple of girls were looking at us as one of them sat in front of Matt. "I wouldn't sit next to that" she said, pointing at me.

Matt looked over to me, making my stomach turn. He looked back at the girl, "why not? Is it because she's too beautiful? Or too hot? Why?" he asked.

I smiled to myself. The girl laughed. "Oh no, not close, she's been with everyone, let's just say that" she said.

The teacher walked in just in time. "Well I'm Madison Beer" she said, walking back to her seat with her friends.

Matt looked over at me. "It's not true" I said, before he said anything. "I never believed it" he said, surprising me.

"You didn't" I asked. "Nope" he said. I smiled. He smiled back. The teacher walked out again and the class began to talk.

"She's my brothers ex" I said, turning to look at him. "Really? Nash likes that?" he asked. I laughed. "It's a long story" I said, putting my feet on Matt's lap.

Matt smiled at me, not even bothered. "I have time" he said. "Okay" I laughed. "Well it started when I was a freshman and Nash was a sophomore" I began.

Matt nodded. "Nash was beginning to get big and a lot of girls liked him. Madison was new and didn't know about his 'fame'" I said.

"So she began to like and hang out with Nash all the time" I said, as Matt tied my shoe. I giggled and continued.

"I liked her until I saw her cheat on him with a guy off the lacrosse team" I said. Matt looked at me, "really? Not surprised" he responded.

"Well every time I told Nash, he never believed me until two years later, he saw it himself and dumped her in front of the other guy" I said.

"Damn" Matt said. "Yup and since then, no one likes her expect her bitchy friends" I said, looking over at them then back to Matt.

Matt laughed and the class started. It was Spanish. "Hola estudiantes" the teacher said. "Hola" we all said.

She smiled at us and went to her computer, putting something on the board. "Here are the simple communication sayings, please write them down" she said, turning back to her desk.

We wrote down the sayings. Matt ripped a page out of his notebook and laid it underneath. I shrugged and kept writing.

I saw Matt bend down to grab something but I didn't wanna seem like a stalker so I kept writing. We all finished and continued with class.

"Now, repeat after me" the teacher said. "Como estas?" she said, perfectly. "Como estas?" the class repeated.

"Can someone tell me what this means?" she asked. A few students raised their hands, including Matt. "Yes, young man in the back" she said.

"It's means how are you" Matt said, proudly. "Correct" she said. He smiled. "Now, you're homework is page 5, 1-20" she said as the bell rang.

I grabbed my book bag. Matt grabbed his and stopped me before leaving. "Where's this at?" he asked, pointing at a room number.

"Down the hall to the right" I said. He hugged me. "Thanks, you're a lifesaver" he said, running out of the room. I laughed and went downstairs to the library.

I saw Johnson reading next to Gilinsky so I sat next to them. "hey dorks" I said as i sat down in front of them.

"Hey shortie" Johnson said, still reading. Gilinsky looked up and smiled, "hey" . "What are you guys doing in here?" I asked.

"Johnson wanted to read this book and i wanted to text" Gilinsky said. "Cool, you guys have all classes together again?" I asked.

They both nodded. I smiled. I got on my phone to check my Twitter. I faved some tweets and replied to others. I had just reached 750K and it was crazy.

"Did you hear the news?" Johnson asked me. "What news?" I asked, confused. "Gilinsky spill" he said, shoving Gilinsky.

I looked over at Gilinsky. "Bart added a new guy" he said, not looking away from his phone. "What" I said.

Johnson put his book down. "Yeah same, he put him in last week and he's coming to Magcon this weekend" he said, rolling his eyes.

"Do you guys know him?" I asked them. "No but apparently he's big on Vine too" Gilinsky said. "Hm so who's coming this weekend?" I asked

"Nash, you, Cam, Shawn, Carter, Taylor, Me, Glinksy, Aaron, Mahogany, Jacob, Sammy, and Skate" Johnson answered.

I sat there thinking about who the new guy was when the bell rang. I walked out, still thinking. This was going to be one hell of a weekend.
