Chapter 12

--Alice's P.O.V--

I woke up to the smell of bacon. I got up and made my way to the kitchen. I walked into the kitchen to see Nathan cooking bacon.

I pulled out my phone a took a picture before Nathan noticed I was there. I pulled out my phone.

I walked up behind him and snaked my arms around his waist. "Hey", I said. He turned around and pecked my lips. "Hey, have a good sleep?" He asked. "Yup, so why did you get up so early?", I asked. "I wanted to make you breakfast, and because we're going sightseeing today", Nathan said. "Yay", I said with a smile.

Since we've been here I haven't seen much of London. "Are we going to see Big Ben?" I asked. "Yup", Nathan said. "Yay!" I said.

Jess came out of the spare bedroom with Justin Bieber pj's on. "If my cousin Jackie was here she'd want to steal your pyjamas Jess", I said. "She's kinda obsessed with him", Nathan said. "So is Jackie", I said.

"Oh my god Nathan are you making breakfast?!" Jess said shocked. "Ya I am", he said. "Oh my god it's a miracle!" Jess said. I started laughing hysterically. "What's so funny?" Nathan asked. "You two!" I said.

"What about us?" Nathan asked. "I just remember how me and my brother did stuff like that", I said. "Oh, I didn't mean to bring up memories", Jess said apologetically. "You don't need to apologize! I was just remembering stuff", I said.

"So what is everyone doing today?" Jess asked. "We'll Alice, Sarah, Jay and I are going to see Big Ben", Nathan said. "Do you want to come?" I asked her. "It's alright I don't really want to intrude. Plus it's like me being a third wheel on your double date", Jess said.

"It's just sightseeing. I wouldn't put it as a date. You should come it will be fun", I said. "Alright", she said.

"Yay!" I said. "So...", Nathan said trying to make conversation. "Isn't mum coming to your show tonight?" Jess asked. "Ya I think she said she's coming", Nathan said.

My phone started ringing, it was my mom. "Salut maman", I said. (Hello mom) "Bonjour Alice, comment vas-tu?", my mom asked. (Hello Alice, how are you?) "Je suis étonnant, Nathan me prend pour voir Big Ben aujourd'hui!" I said excitedly. (I'm amazing, Nathan is taking me to see Big Ben today!)

"Cela semble amusant! Assurez-vous que vous prenez beaucoup de photos! Je veux les voir quand tu rentreras", my mom said. (That sounds like fun! Make sure you take a lot of pictures! I want to see them when you get back)

"Je vais, comment se fait la croisière?" I asked. (I will, how is the cruise?) "C'est génial. Je reçois tout le bronzage, est donc votre père. L'eau est un très joli bleu clair", my mom said. (It's great. I'm getting quite the tan, so is your father. The water is a really pretty light blue)

"Cela semble incroyable maman, je suis désolé mais je dois y aller. Mon petit déjeuner est à faire froid", I said. (That sounds amazing mom, I'm sorry but I have to go. My breakfast is getting cold) "Bon, amusez-vous dès aujourd'hui! N'oubliez pas de prendre un tas de photos pour moi", my mom said. (Alright, have fun today! Remember to take a bunch of pictures for me)

"I will", I said with a laugh. "Alright bye!" She said. "By mom", I said. "It's so cool how you speak French", Jess said. "It's cool how you both have English accents", I said. "Well it tends to happen when you live in England", Nathan said with a hint of sarcasm.

I laughed and sat down to eat. We all ate breakfast then went to get ready.

I climbed into the warm shower. I thought about the day ahead. I was lost in my thoughts when I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist. "Holy shit Nath, don't scare me like that!" I said. He laughed. "Sorry babe", he said. "Just get washed", I said brushing it off. "Alrighty", Nathan said in a perky tone.
