I heard her heart monitor raise when Stokes walked in.
"What do you want pig?" She spat at him.
"I guess you heard the news. It can all be changed if Jason agrees to go on parole for two years and work for the government while on parole. He would have to live with me and I could find you a nice home to live in." Stokes seemed to believe she would agree to this idiotic plan of his. "
HELL NO! Even if Jason agreed, I'm not going back into the system. I would run for good." She yelled at him.
"Li, you need to calm down or the doc will make us leave." I warned her. She looked at me clearly pissed.
"I want him out Jase. Now." She meant what she said 110%.

The doctor came in two weeks after I had Stokes banned from visting me in the hospital I was released to him.
"Jase, take his offer. It's the best your gonna get." For the first time in 4 years of the seventeen I had lived I let a year slip from my eye. Jason kissed my cheek.
"I'm gonna make a deal with him for you, Li." Jason promised me.
"Bye Jason." I said as I climbed in the SUV. I missed him already.
