"You'll be alright tonight right?" My dad asked for the fifth time fixing the outfit I made him wear.

"Yes dad. I already told you Mercedes is picking me up and we're doing to get dinner and a movie." I said watching him fix it in the mirror.

"Is Carole going to like this?" My dad asked.

"Yes you'll do fine on your date. You got along great yesterday just keep up conversation like that." I said.

My dad sighed in the mirror and looked over to me. "Your not mad or anything are you." He said fixing his blazer one more time.

"No why would I be?" I asked.

"Because I'm going out with someone. Last time I did this it was with your mom." My dad said almost worried.

"Dad I'm fine. I'm happy that you met someone other than me who can make you smile." I said smiling at him.

My dad smiled at me. "Your a good kid, you know?"

"Yeah I know." I said smiling back. "Alright get going it's almost eight."

I got up from the chair and went past my dad checking my phone for any messages from Blaine.

So far nothing.

"Alright here's everything. Have a good time." I said handing my dad his keys, wallet, and phone.

"Ok bye text me if anything happens." My dad said giving me a hug walking out the door. I watched as his car pulled out and drove away.

Blaine then texted me saying he'd be here in about five minutes.

I did the final checks on my outfit as I heard the knock at the door.

I excitedly and nervously got the door.

There Blaine stood tall and handsome. He wore a red polo and black pants. His shaggy hair fell perfectly and he wasn't wearing any glasses.

"Hey beautiful." He said handing my red and yellow roses I didn't notice he had.

"Hey yourself." I said smiling taking the roses.
"There pretty." I said admiring the roses.

"They made me think of you." Blaine smiled.

I blushed smiling at Blaine.
"Your too good."

"Come on we have reservations." He said putting his hands in his pockets.

"Hold on lemme put these in water." I said running upstairs to put them in a empty vase in my room.

I ran back to Blaine and locked the door behind me.

"Ready." I said smiling up at him.

He took my hand and guided me to the car opening the door. "Oh what a gentlemen." I said getting in the car.

"Aren't I." He said walking to the other side. He steeped in and began to drive.

"So what restaurant are we going to?" I asked Blaine.

"It's a nice one. It's called The Good Life." Blaine said keeping his eyes on the road.
