Ugh. Two words.

Writers. Block.

Oh and this YouTube video is for you to listen to when Nova talks about something.

When you see this (£££) play the music. This chapter might be a little depressing in someways at the beginning. And this song just adds on to the mood. Listening to it is recommended.

Sorry for the late update!

Kiki's POV

"Are we there yet?" I ask, groaning

"No." Louis says from the drivers seat

I look out the window at the highway. Broken down cars. Bashed windshields. Dead people.

That's all you see.

"Are we there yet?" I ask turning to Louis, a smirk threatening to appear on my face

"No." He says calmly

I wait a second.

"How about now?" I ask smirking

"Nope."

"Now?"

"No."

"Now?"

"...No..." He says with a sigh

"Now?"

I can tell he's getting annoyed slightly

"No."

"Now?"

"No!" He says a bit more annoyed

"No-"

"Don't even finish that word." He says, looking over at me with an amused yet annoyed look in his eyes

I shut my mouth and turn towards the window quickly.

I see a "Welcome to Tennessee!" sign.

Almost there.

Nova's POV

It's actually relaxing not having to drive or sit in the front seat of the van.

Currently, Mimi's head is in my lap and Maggie is laying beside me. I'm petting Maggie's head while kind of tickling Mimi in a calming way.

I can't imagine what she must feel like, being little and not understanding why people are trying to eat each other.

What if I'm not immune, but I'm just able to slow the infection down?

What if I turn into one of those things again, but never turn back to me?

I shudder at the thought.

"Hey, you okay?" Lexi asks from in front of me

I just nod.

She gets up and makes her way over to me. She moves Maggie gently and sits where she was sitting, and then puts Maggie's head on her lap.

"What's wrong?" She asks

I look at her.

Tears swell in my eyes.

"I was just thinking...what happens when you turn into one of those things? Like, when I do it, I feel like myself and I don't have the urge to eat people." I explain "But, when you're an actual zombie, is it still you in there? Is the person who's a zombie still in the body, screaming for help but can't find a way to get out the sound?
