[ Zania's POV ]

"Zania, I haven't seen you all day," Frigga says as Jane and I walk in the palace.

"I was with Jane," I say.

Frigga looks at her and says, "I see."

Then she smiles at both of us and says, "Well, join us now."

We ate dinner. After that, we all just talked to each other. I'd gotten to know these people more. They are very kind. Then out of the thought, I noticed Loki wasn't here. I looked around the room.

Then I looked outside, and I found him.

He was by the deck, looking out the night sky.

I stood there, watching him.

He always seemed to be an outsider. But it was because he was choosing to be.

"Sneaking up on me, Faddist?" I hear him say.

"My name is Zania," I correct.

"Yes, I know," he says. I take a step closer.

"Why must you hate me so much?" i ask.

He chuckles once and turns around. He looks at me with his emerald hues.

"I do not hate you," he answers.

"Then why do you, TREAT me like I'm dirt that you can just kick around? Did I ever offend you in such way? Did my planet do something to Asgard? Do-"

"No, its none of that," he says.

I scoff and say, "Then why, Loki?"

Loki just stared at me. Finally he says softly, "I do not know."

I sighed, still a bit confused.

I didn't want to push it, so I decided to move on.

"Why do you seperate yourself from the others?" I ask.

"You are a curious one, arent you?" he says.

I waited for him to answer.

He chuckles and says, "Has it ever came to mind that I like to be alone?"

"I doubt you like being alone."

"Pretending you know me so well?"

I shrug. "You're...just a mysterious man, Loki," I say.

He just grinned at me.

"Mother seems to love you," he says.

I roll my eyes and answer, "Maybe a little too much. I think its only because I'm the 'last Faddist'."

Loki chuckles at that. I laugh also.

Then I remember something.

"I think my father dated her before," I say, awkwardly.

"Hm. Yes, I believe so," Loki says.

Then it got quiet.

I stared at Loki, seeing his expression.

"Loki," I say, "I understand the things you went through these past years-"

He scoffs and he looks up at me. His hardens.

"You know NOTHING, Faddist. You know nothing about me," he tells.

"I know OF you," I say and he laughs at that.

"You're ridiculous."

"Am I? Have you ever, just once, loved yourself?"

That made him quite for awhile.
