Riley's POV:

Stupid Ron! What does he know? I don't like Jinx. Well, not in that way. When she's not acting like a whining baby she's really cool. Besides the fact that her views on the world may be obstructed by how she was always locked up in her home. But she is really smart not counting that.

"Hey Riley? What are you looking at?"

I turned my attention to Jinx, who had curiousity on her face. She blinked twice, sending me out of my trance.

"Nothing." I sighed. I rolled over in my bed and yawned. Wait, was Jinx in my room? I turne back to Jinx and she laughed.

"Morning sleepy head!" She screamed in my ear.

"Ugh!" I groaned. "Where you watching me sleep this whole time?" I asked her.

"No. You started to mutter in your sleep and I could hear you out in the living room. I came in here and have been standing here for about five minutes." Jinx said. I was muttering in my sleep?

"What was I saying in my sleep? Wait, I don't want to know." I said. I stood up and put a pair of jeans on. I turned to Jinx.

"What are you still doing here?" I asked. She furrowed her eyebrows.

"I'm sick of wearing the sam clothes over and over again." Jinx said. I rolled my eyes.

"When you left your parents apartment didn't you figure you'd need clothes?" I asked. She shrugged. I thought for a moment. I could buy her clothes...

"Also, I found a picture of a girl. She looks like you and is really pretty." Jinx said. That's right! I have my sister's clothes! She left them here from when she moved out only a month ago.

"Oh, that's my older sister. Her name's Leah." I said. "She left alot of her clothes here saying they were 'out of fashion.'" I told her. I went into another room that used to be my sisters. Our apartment, because my dad was rich, had two bathrooms and three bedrooms. We actually had the biggest room in the building.

"Riley," Jinx started.

"What?" I asked.

"Why couldn't I just sleep in here?" Jinx here. I shrugged.

"I forgot." I said truthfully.

"Nice excuse." Jinx snorted.

"It's not an excuse! Just shut up and get dressed!" I yelled at her going back to my room. I put on a plain red shirt and went into the kitchen to start cooking. When Jinx came out she was wearing a plain white V-neck shirt with navy blue skirt that was to her mid-thigh. She also had on white high heels that made her three inches taller.

"Look at me! I'm super tall!" She giggled. I stared in disbelief. She cocked her head to the side.

"What are you looking at Riley?" She asked. I shook my head and closed my mouth.

"Nothing." I muttered. I flipped the pancake trying to ignore Jinx. She took one step foreward and tripped. I caught her before she could fall and helped her back up. "Go put on your converse, Jinx." I told her. "But first, take off the stupid heels."

Jinx's POV:

Riley made pancakes! Yay! I ate two and Riley ate one. I laughed and asked if he was on a diet. He told me to shut up.

We walked out of the building and towards Ron's Pawn Shop. On the way I got alot of stares and smiles. I smiled back being polite. My blue hair sure made a scene. I heard Riley mutter something inchoherently when a bunch of guys whistled and gave cat calls. We went into the shop where Ron's eyes widened when he saw us.
