The Visit

I got ready for the visit I'd be making to my grandparents. I made plently of food and snacks for Sakura and her friends, she said they'd be staying here and possibly sleeping over which meant I'd probably be back until after midnight, I wouldn't want any of her friends trying to sneak into my bedroom.

"Jun-Kun ~ Have a safe trip!" Ayumi smiled.

"Thanks. Sakura, I'll call you when I arrive" I hugged her.

"Okay Onii-chan, be careful okay? Give my love to grandma and grandpa" she smiled.

"Jun-Senpai, Can I have a hug too?"

"Me too!"

"Can I?!"

"I want a big strong hug!"

"Uh. Hehe. Ladies I really must be going" I scratched my head.

"Group hug!"

!!

They all grabbed a hold of me and pressed their bodies against me. Rubbing and trying to touch me.

!

"That's enough!" Sakura yelled as she pulled them away.

"I'll see you later. Don't wait up, I'm gonna go see Shika."

"Who's Shika?" They all asked.

"She's a friend of mine" I said.

They looked at Sakura for answers.

"She's a friend" she assured. "Well bye Onii-chan ~ Have fun~"

"Study hard. I'll help you all tomorrow, I promise" I smiled.

All: Okay Jun-senpai o(〃^▽^〃)o

I walked out the door and made my way to my grandparents. I haven't really spoken to them since revealing that I had taken the part of being Sakura's brother instead of her sister. They didn't take it too well but it didn't make them change their mind about me...

Walking through these familiar streets made me relive my childhood or at least part of it, after 7 years old my life took a turn for the worst. Most kids complain about their parents and wish they had different ones but mine were one of a kind. Even if they weren't the way they were with us, I'd just be happy I still had them by my side.

That bakery over there, it was the place where we'd buy our birthday cakes. Father used to buy 3 small ones, we each got our own.

The park around the corner is where mother would take us in the afternoons to play while we waited for father to come.

The toy store on the fifth street, we'd go there every Saturday to pick out a new toy. Father taught us to take care of our old toys so we could give them away and as a reward we'd get new ones.

So many memories...it made me feel nostalgic and the bitterness within me grew a little. I envy everyone who had the chance to grow up with their parents, when Sakura and I turned 13. I spoke to my grandparents and told them I wanted to move, I didn't want to keep living with them anymore. I wasn't accustomed to having maids or butlers, I wanted to live a life of my own. Of course they were against it but when they realized that I missed how I lived when I had my parents they agreed.

Of course with that process they hired some temporary parents for our school needs and PTA crap. They stay at home while Sakura and I are away at school, doing the cleaning. The neighbors know them as our parents too but we just say that they travel a lot.

"Excuse me"

?

"Yes?" I turned around.

"Jun! It is you!"
