Emily's P.O.V.

*10 months later *

It's finally Summer and i'm coming back to California to see my family and friends , Sydney was more than i could ever ask for , people are so nice and they're really fun to be around .

After i left me and Luke tried to talk every day , but after a month we both gave up , the whole situation was extremely awkward .

I missed him every single day of my life , I still love him and i wish things were different but i didn't want to be the thing that was stopping him from living his life to the fullest .

He probably moved on , he probably found a beautiful girl that makes him really happy .

I was so lost in thoughts that i didn't even realize that the plane had landed .

-Let's go Emily - Lati said excitedly

I smiled widely and got up , we left the plane and got our stuff .

I looked around trying to find my mom , my eyes stopped and met Paige's .  

Everybody was there , our friends and our parents . 

Paige ran to me and gave me a tight hug .

-Oh my god i missed you so much - she said

-Me too Paige me too - I said 

We pulled out of the hug and Paige squealed .

-I'm so happy - she jumped up and down 

I chuckled and before i could do anything Ryan picked me up and spun me around .

-Emily !!!! - he said excitedly

I giggled - What's up Greg

He put me down and hugged me tightly .

-I missed you ugly ass - I said

-And i missed you - Ryan said 

Matt opened his arms .

-Come here ! - he said and i hugged him tightly

We pulled away and i hugged Cass .

-Emily , oh my god i've missed you so much you have no idea - she hugged me once again

-I've missed you too Cass - I said smiling widely

-What about me ? - my mom asked from behind him

I smiled and hugged her .

-Oh my sweet Emily - my mom said and gave me a bear hug

-I missed you so much mom - I said

-Me too - my mom said 

-Hey Peter -I said and hugged him

-Hello there - he said and smiled

I hugged Lati's parents and we left the airport .

We arrived at my place and i put my things in my bedroom , after that i threw myself on my bed , i sighed in content .

-I missed this - I whispered to myself

I got up and walked downstairs , i entered the living room and sat on the couch next to Paige .

-How was Australia ? - Paige asked me

-Amazing - I said

-I bet - Paige said

-Did you make friends ? - my mom asked me
