Chapter 24

Luke's P.O.V.

It's finally weekend . This week went by faster than i thought it would .  Right now i'm laying in Emily's bed , she's sleeping peacefully , her back is against my chest and our hands are intertwined . It feels so good to be in here with her .

My thoughts ran back to the talk i've been wanting to have a conversation with her for a really long time ago . I've been trying to tell her and she keeps asking what i was going to say , but when i'm going to say it , i always get interrupted . It's frustrating .

Emily moved in her sleep turning around to face me , she snuggled her head in the crook of my neck .

-Good morning - she said sleepily 

I smiled .

-Good morning- I said happily

She looked up at me . I kissed her .

-Eww morning breath - she said frowning

-You too so shut up ! - I said chuckling lightly

-I'm joking i don't really care about that - she said smiling

-Me neither - I said 

I kissed her sweetly that it soon turned into a passionate kiss , our lips fitted together like pieces of a puzzle .

She pulled away making me wish that she didn't .

-We're gross - she chuckled 

-I know ! - I exclaimed

She moved on the bed and reached for her bag on the floor , she took out a pack off mint gum and put one in her mouth . She handed it to me and i took one for myself .

-Are you hungry ? - she asked me

Sincerely i'm not hungry at all .

-Not really - I said

-Me neither - she said while putting her hair in a messy bun

I sat back against the head board .

-Em i've been trying to talk to you about something but we always get interrupted .

-I know - she slowly nodded

Emily's P.O.V.

-I know - I slowly nodded my head

I gulped . Oh god ..

-I was going to say that i know that you take those shits that Ashley says personally . Even though you smile , your eyes tell me otherwise . Emily i need you to know that you are amazing and you are not worthless . You're beautiful , talented , smart and much much more - Luke said

Fuck . How did he notice ? Nobody ever knew about it . I hide it so well , why did this happened . Ugh . What am i gonna do now ? I can't just lie because he most probably wouldn't believe it even if i tried .

I sighed and looked to my hands .

-How ? - I asked

-How what ? - he asked me 

-How did you know - I muttered

Luke's P.O.V.

-How did you know - she muttered playing with her fingers

I pulled her closer to me making her sit on my lap , each leg on my sides .

-Emily when you really really really like someone you start to notice every little thing they do . Like the way you smile or your eyes . Your eyes changed since the day i met you . They used to be dull and cold , now they look happier , they look more blue , you have beautiful eyes . Emily i can see it every time Ashley says something you take it personally , it hurts you and it shouldn't . Because every single shit she says is nothing but that . Shit . That's all it is - I said looking deeply into her eyes

She let a tear fall and i wipe it out with my thumb .

-Baby don't cry - I whispered

-I'm stupid and worthless and i don't know what i did to deserve you - she said looking at her hands 

I hugged her tightly and she snuggled her head in my chest .

-Emily -I whispered 

I sighed .

-You're not worthless , you mean a lot to a lot of people . I don't know what i would do without you . You make me so happy and i don't know what i did to deserve such and amazing girl like you - I said lifting her head to look at me

-I'm nothing but a broken fucked up girl - Emily said

-Emily that's not your fault , you've been through a lot and that just shows how strong you actually are - I said 

-But why would you want to me with me ? - Emily asked

-Because i made a promise to myself since the first day i saw you - I said

-What ? - she asked clearly confused

-I want to be the one to save you - I whispered and kissed her forehead

She smiled and gave me a sweet peck on the lips .

-Oh god . Why am I crying ? - she said cleaning her tears

I hugged her tightly .

-That thing you said about my eyes . Like how they look brighter - she started

I nodded .

-I'm happy with you . Since Josh i never let a guy get near me and now i'm sitting on your lap - she said giggling

I smiled .

-I couldn't ask for a better person to be with - I said

-Me neither - she whispered

I kissed her and lay her down , i balance my weight in each side of her with my arms .

She tangled her hands in my hair and i kissed her neck , i left kissed along her jawline and i connected our lips together .  It started to get heated so i pulled away , our faces were inches apart , i smiled and kissed her nose , i lay down next to her and she put her head in my chest .

I knew she wanted to take it slow and i did too , i don't wanna rush things .

I like the way our relationship is . But wait . We're not official . What are we then ?  I have no idea , but all i know is there i never felt so good around someone like i feel around Emily .

She makes me genuinely happy and I don't ever want to lose her .
