Emily's P.O.V.
-Sure - I replied
We walked to the park in silence , but it wasn't an awkward silence , me and Luke were walking side to side our hand brushing on each other . The park was really close to my house, it was literally in the street behind my house .
-We arrived and we sat on the swings - I stayed there swinging slowly and looking to my feet
-Do i look like a monster or not ? - I asked looking at my outfit
Normally guys hate when girls don't dress up . ugh . Not that i care , i couldn't give two shits about what people think about me .
-A monster ? You look beautiful , no . You are beautiful - he said
I blushed . - Thanks
-I don't understand why i'm supposed to stay away from you - he said looking deeply into my eyes and playing with his lip ring
-Because i'm bad news - I said sighting
-You keep saying that - he said
-Because it's true - I said
-It's not true . You're a nice person - he said
I scoffed - I'm a burden
-Why do you say that ? - he asked
-Just forget I said that - I said
He nodded . He knew I didn't want to talk about it .
-Come on - he said pulling me up
He ran to that weird swing that goes all the way down .
-What are you doing ? - I asked chuckling
-Having fun - he said
He sat on it and screamed "Wiiiiiiii" , i chuckled looking at him , before he reached the end he started to say " Oh no ! Oh no ! " the swing reached the end and he let out a groan .
I chuckled .
-You're turn - he said
I sat on the swing and went down , i giggled the entire time , it was actually really fun .
Luke just stared at me smiling .
-What ? - I asked giggling
-We're having fun - he said
-And ? - I asked confused
-You told me to stay away from you but we're having fun together- he smiled
-I guess - I said
His smile got wider .
-But that doesn't mean anything . I still think you should stay away from me . - I said
-Why ? - he looked sad
I stepped closer to him and put my hand behind his neck so i could whisper to his ear "Don't get too close it's dark inside "
I look straight in his eyes and he gave me a sad smile . Then he did something unexpected , he hugged me tightly and i hugged him back .We pulled away and he smiled at me .
-Monkey bars ? - I asked
His smile got wider .
He ran to the monkey bars pulling me with him , i giggled , something i was doing a lot today , and i enjoyed it , i didn't have this much fun since .. Stop Emily , you need to stop ! I pushed those thoughts away .
He crossed the monkey bars 2 by 2 and turned to me .
-I bet you can't do that - he said challenging me
