Chapter 21: The Battle

Daniel's POV

"MEET US AT THE SHACK HOUSE TODAY BY 5 PM OR YOUR LITTLE FRIENDS DIE" ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! SHE WAS CAPTURED?!

Jaylan was going on a rampage while Anastasia burned the paper.

Red Dawn has gotten the note before us so they were already here.

"We need a plan." -Travis

"A plan? Your lucky I don't kill you." - Anastasia

"Anastasia stop. We can't just rush in there we don't know what they have." -Joshua

"Mhmm."

"Well what's the plan then!" -Jaylan

"You and Anastasia will go in through the front and distract the guards while Austin and Natalie will go through the cells and try to find Naomi." I said.

"So what are you Joshua and my brother? The three useless musketeers?!" -Natalie.

"No. Once you and Austin find them mind-link all of us. We will be outside trying to catch the scent of uncle Ruckas."

"Tsk." Jaylan said glaring at Travis.

"If she dies-"

"She won't." He growled and she stopped talking.

It was 4:30.

"Let's go." Jaylan said with Anastasia, Natalie, and Austin nodding.

"Be careful." I kissed her.

"You too." She kissed me back.

We watched as they shifted and ran into the forest. We did the same but in the other direction.

Jaylan's POV

He lied. This was no damn shack it looked like an underground cave.

We shifted into our human form wearing the extra clothes we brought along.

Anastasia Gave me a 'are you ready' look and I nodded. It was now or never.

I kicked down the door letting everyone know that it was their day to die.

We went down the concrete steps only to be surrounded by hundreds of people. Anastasia and I went back to back facing them.

"Give me your hand"

"What why?"

"You'll see." I gave her my hands only to see each man drop one by one.

"Haha what did you do?"

"I shut down their nervous system I didn't kill them though."

"That's great"

"Yes but I used up some of your energy too."

"That's fine" its not like we had anything to worry about. Boy was I wrong. A wolf who now had blood dripping down its teeth stood in front of us.

My only question was whose blood it was.

He charged at us and we both separated and ran causing it to slip. Did it just turn?

I saw it charging for Anastasia who was already weak so I shifted and growled at it causing it to stop.

It was my fight now.

He lunged for me and I dodge slashing his side making him fall.
He got up but I could tell one of his legs were damaged so I charged at him and bit one so hard he twisted in pain. This won't kill him but he won't be able to walk for a while.

I shifted back while Anastasia ran over with clothes.

"Where's you get these?"

"Pack house, I took some extra clothes in case. Do you have the energy to keep going?"

"Definitely." We went up the stairs and off to find Naomi.

Austin's POV

We went around until we saw a back door and opened it. I went in first looking if anyone was there but the coast was clear. I signalled Natalie over and she said she felt a door by the kitchen so we walked over and actually found a door.

"Wow." I said amazed she got it

"Yes its a door. Now let's open it." She said with seriousness. Where was the old sweet natalie?

I opened the door and we both went down. We found her and a guy there with silver attached to their ankles and even a little boy who played their on the ground not moving.

'Everyone a wooden door by the kitchen that's where they are.'

"WATCH OUT" NAOMI YELLED

And I turned to see Natalie falling to the cold hard ground.

"Natalie!" I bent down when I heard what seem like a gun headed straight at me. All I saw was Naomi with tears on her face before falling to the cold ground myself.
