Ian was sitting on his bed, thinking. He didn't know what they were going to do. None of them did.
What did Cupquake mean? In her last moments, she had warned them not to trust anyone. But that meant that someone was not who they said they were. His mind wandered.Ian had overheard Lee and Gizzy saying they were planning to fake their deaths, could it be them? It was certainly a possibility. And who was this, Mastermind? Cupquake had mentioned them. She acted as if her, them, and Steve were friends. But why? Why would she befriend the person who put her in this horrid game of death?
Who was Mastermind, and what did they have to do with Cupquake's death?
Questions flew through Ian's head, each of them impossible to answer. Will I ever get out of this place? The question stuck in his head. He simply didn't know for sure, all he could do was hope.
Hope. What a simple thing, yet it wasn't simple at all. In this place of nightmares, it was almost impossible to have any hope at all.
