No one's PoV

It's been two months since Courtney went into a coma. She hasn't gotten any better or worse.

Kaylei and Austin are extremely close. They tell each other everything, well almost everything. She's fallen for him. He's falling for her.

The boys and Sarah haven't been back up since their last visit, when they met Rachel and Andrea.

The whole Alex thing has blown over. Him and Sarah are closer to each other then ever.

Andrea has gotten close with Austin and Tyler.

And Rachel, Rachel has become extremely close to Sarah and is in denial that she likes Zach.

Kaylei's PoV

"Admit it!" I yell.

"No!" Rachel fights back.

"You know you like him."

"I do not."

"Sure."

"Well, you like Austin."

"So what if I do, and you just admitted you like Zach."

"I did no- Omg I did! Ugh!"

I laugh.

Rachel playfully hits my arm.

I get a text, read it, then say, "Anyways, Austin and I are going to go see how Courtney is doing."

"Okay, call me if anything has changed."

"Okay," I say then walk out of her house and to Austin's car.

"Ready?" Austin asks.

"Yeah," I say.

He starts his car then heads to the hospital.

"What's with the guitar?" I ask when I see his guitar in the back seat.

" I asked if I could bring it and the doctor said yeah. I thought we could sing to her."

"That's so nice of you."

-At hospital-

Austin and I get out and walk up to Courtney's room.

I lay on the right side of the bed, and Austin pulls a chair to the left side of the bed.

Austin and I decided to sing two songs. We picked them in the car.

*A/N- If you've never heard one of the songs you should look it up.*

Austin starts strumming the music to 'Only God Could Love You More' by Jerrod Niemann. Then starts singing, "The things you say, they hit me with the right sometimes, hit me with the left sometimes. But I'm still standing."

I join in.

When finish singing the song, we stay silent for about a minute.

We then sing 'How To Save A Life' by The Fray.

After that song, Austin gets up to go to the bathroom.

"Courtney," I say. "I really need you right now. I can't stand you not being by my side. I can't stand seeing you like this. Everyone misses you. Everyone's worried. I know you think no one cares, but you have no clue how different the school is with out you there. The math teacher isn't as enthusiastic. Science isn't as fun. You have no clue how happy you made all the teachers. You need to wake up soon. We all miss you."

Austin comes out of the bathroom.

"Austin," I say, tears about to fall out if my eyes.

"Yeah?" he asks sitting back in the chair.

"I thought of one more song I want to sing."

"What song?"

"Be Alright."

"Okay," Austin says grabbing his guitar. He starts playing 'Be Alright' by Justin Bieber.

We both sing it.

October, that's when this happened. It's now December and she still hasn't improved. Austin and I have gotten pretty close. But, it's been a hard two months with out Courtney. I never really realized how much she helpped me get though the day, but now I know. I really need her right about now.

Courtney's PoV

Austin and Kaylei. I can hear them singing to me.

She knows how much I love those songs.

When she tells me about school, I remember how much I helped out the teachers. I love helping people. Even if they weren't my teacher, I would help them with stuff.

I try to move my hand, my foot, my arm, my leg, my head, anything. Nothing happens. I try to talk. Nothing. Why won't anything work?!

I hear the music to 'Be Alright'.

Kaylei must have remembered its one of my favorite Justin Bieber songs.

When they finish, I can hear them crying.

I feel Kaylei grab my right hand and Austin grab my left hand.

It's sorta quiet for about 15 minutes.

I take all my strength and squeeze Kaylei's hand.

I then feel her jump out off the bed.

I suddenly feel my heart beat slowing down.

Austin's PoV

Kaylei suddenly jumps out of the bed.

"What?" I ask.

"She squeezed my hand," Kaylei says.

Before I can say anything, the heart monitor starts beeping. I look at it and the line keeps getting slower and slower.

The doctor and a few nurses come running into the room.

One of the nurses politely asks us to leave the room.

Kaylei and I walk out.

Kaylei turns and starts crying into my chest, I put my arms around he then go sit in one of the uncomfortable chairs and put her in my lap.

She cries herself to sleep.

About 30 minutes later, everyone comes out of the room.

The doctor sits next to me then says, "She has gotten a lot worse. Just remember what I told you a month ago." He walks away.

I pick Kaylei up bridal style then walk back into Courtney's room.
