Napabuntong hininga ang mga babae habang napapataas ang mga kilay sa kakapanood ng pabalik-balik na lakad ng mga lalaki. Nahihilo lang sila kaya naiiling nilang inalis ang tingin dito.

Kasalukuyan silang nasa HQ ng RK. Kanina pa rin nagpapaikot-ikot ang mga ito maliban kay Chris na walang bago, nakaharap sa laptop nito. Hindi sila mapakali simula noong nangyari kanina.

After a long minutes of watching them, Precious finally snapped. “Guys, can’t you just stop phasing?! Juice colored, nakakahilo kayo! Hindi ba kayo napapagod?” singhal nito.

“Finally!” Max exclaimed. “Bakit ba kayo ang namumrublema? Let the adults do their job. It’s not your responsibility that someone died today. Hindi naman kayo ang pumatay, right?” Taas kilay na tanong nito.

“We know, but something’s not right. It’s suspicious, isn’t it? First time nangyari ‘to.” Ani Shin.

“Ano naman kung una palang? There’s always a first time in everything, lol.” Nakuha pang magbiro ni Max.

“Not funny.” Micky said.

Max just shrugged.

“Besides everyone says that it’s suicide but that just doesn’t seem right.” James said.

Chris nodded in agreement. “I have that feeling too. I saw dark marks on her neck like she was struggled first before stabbing right through her heart then dumped the body down making she committed suicide by jumping off the building.” he said.

“Haba nun.” Walang kwentang singit ni Shin kaya nabatukan siya ni Micky. “Sensya hehe.”

“It’d clearly a murder. Why would they say it’s suicide?” Micky asked.

“Probably to prevent the students from panicking. Announcing it as suicide is a good choice than murder that will make the news spread wildfire and that was the last thing the Principal wants.” Scarlett came between. “Of course the name and reputation of the school is in line. Not surprised why they covered it.”

Natahimik naman sila at nalingon sa kanya. Did she got her head off? Bakit ganyan sila makatingin?

“Definitely makes sense.” Chris said.

“Of course, it does.” Napapairap na sagot nito.

Nag katinginan naman ang iba.

“If it’s indeed murder then it’s definitely a first. Ang lakas ng loob nung killer. Alam ng lahat na bawal ang pag patay dito dahil expulsion agad parusa then rot in jail, duh.” Shin said.

“They must have an intension. Why would they kill an innocent?” James asked.

“And the killer moves clean. Wala manlang nakakita sa kanyan. I also hacked the cctv around the scene but the killer knows the angle and how to avoid it. The witnesses also said that they only noticed when the body fell. No scream.” Christian said.

Everyone went silent.

“Don’t tell me there’s an assassin in this school.” Max exclaimed.

“Maybe? Not impossible.” Liza said.

Then everyone went silent again.

Scarlett looked over the man who sat beside her. He saw how heavly he sighed. Natigilan ito at napatingin sa kanya, marahil ay naramdaman ang mga titig niya. Muli itong napabuntong hininga kaya tumaas na ang kilay niya.
