Han Wool scoffed. “I was literally about to leave after your aunt locked the door.”
“Oh,” I blinked. “That’s… good to hear.”
I turned toward my door, already reaching for my keys. “Okay, well then. I should be also sleeping. Good night, Han Wool.”
I barely took a step before I felt it—
His arm.
Looping around my waist from behind.
A startled gasp left my lips as my feet lifted off the ground, my body suddenly weightless as he pulled me back against him.
“What the—Han Wool—”
Before I could even think, he was moving, dragging me toward his car with ease.
“If this is about a kiss, I can—”
“Shh,” he muttered, effortlessly pulling open the passenger door and dropping me into the seat.
I barely had time to process anything before he shut the door and rounded the car, slipping into the driver’s seat. The engine purred to life, and before I could demand an explanation, he was already driving.
I blinked at him, utterly bewildered. “Did you just—kidnap me?”
Han Wool smirked, keeping his eyes on the road. “You make it sound so dramatic.”
I huffed, crossing my arms. “Where are we going?”
“You’ll see.”
I let out a sigh, but I didn’t press further.
Because I knew.
I knew exactly why he did this.
And despite my protests, the corners of my lips twitched, betraying the warmth blooming in my chest.
The drive was silent, filled only with the hum of the car and the faint sounds of the city in the distance. Then, finally, he pulled into a quiet area—a secluded spot where the streetlights barely reached, the world around us hushed and still.
No one was here.
Just us.
I turned to him, an amused smile tugging at my lips. “You should ask me for a kiss instead of—”
Han Wool didn’t wait.
His lips were on mine before I could finish, capturing my words in a kiss that was soft at first, teasing, barely there—before he deepened it, his hand coming up to cup the side of my face, fingers slipping into my hair.
A quiet sigh escaped me, my body leaning into him instinctively.
His lips moved slowly, deliberately, like he had all the time in the world to taste me.
Between kisses, he murmured, “You talk too much.”
A breathless laugh slipped from me, only to be swallowed by his next kiss. “And you—” I gasped as his teeth grazed my lower lip, “are way too impatient.”
Han Wool hummed, his hands sliding down my waist, gripping just enough to make me shiver. “Impatient?” His tongue flicked against the sensitive corner of my mouth before he pressed another deep kiss. “I’d say I’ve been too patient.”
His words were a low vibration against my lips, and I felt it everywhere.
“Then what are you waiting for?” I teased, breath hitching as his fingers traced circles over my hip, his touch deliberate, slow.
He smirked, tilting his head. “Maybe I just like hearing you beg a little.”
I scoffed, pressing my hands against his chest. “In your dreams.”
