I dusted off my uniform and walked down the school building like nothing had happened. Because, well, nothing had happened.
I went to my class, but it was annoying. So I went outside. But still annoying. There was too much voice.
Thought of library- but I didn't go, I just am not in the mood to read. And I need a good view when I listen to music, it should be sky or river or something beautiful that you can't take your eyes off.
Did I almost get stuck on the rooftop? Maybe. Did Yun Ga-Min move the ladder while I was still up there? Possibly. Did Han-Wool spot me in the process? Unconfirmed.
But was I thinking about it?
No.
I had already forgotten about it. It didn't matter.
I walked down the hallway, minding my own business, when a voice called out-
"Wait."
I didn't stop.
"Wait. Wait. WAIT."
I kept walking.
A blur appeared beside me, panting like he had just run a marathon. Yun Ga-Min adjusted his glasses, staring at me like I was a puzzle he couldn't solve.
"You," he said dramatically. "What happened to you?"
I blinked. "What?"
He pointed at me. "You weren't in the classroom earlier. And then I saw you outside the window, and then-" He paused, frowning. "Wait, where were you before that?"
I stared at him.
He stared at me.
Somewhere in the background, a first-year dropped their books. Someone sneezed.
A teacher walked by with dead eyes.
"I was here," I finally said.
"No, but before that."
I turned to leave.
"WAIT," he said again, blocking my way. "Where were you exactly five minutes ago?"
I checked my watch. "Existing."
His eye twitched. "No. Something's off. You weren't here, and then suddenly-you appeared out of nowhere. I saw it."
I sighed. "And?"
"I want to know how you did it."
I looked at him for a long second. Then took a deep breath.
"I teleported."
His entire brain short-circuited. "Huh?? W-what-"
"Yeah," I continued, nodding seriously. "Been practicing it for years. Finally mastered it today."
His mouth opened and closed.
"...Teleportation?"
"Yes."
More silence.
Then he grabbed his notebook.
"Can you show me?" he asked, flipping to a blank page. "I need to write this down."
I stared at him. He is serious.
Oh my god.
"...No," I said.
He frowned. "Why not?"
"Because you're not ready."
More silence.
Then he gasped. "Do I need a certain IQ level to unlock it?"
I turned around and walked away.
"WAIT-" he yelled, jogging after me. "At least tell me the scientific explanation-"
