Seok Jeongan.

He had looked at me like I was nothing. Stepped on me like I was a bug under his shoe.

And yet, for a second-just one second-he hesitated.

He didn't shake. He didn't back away. But he noticed.

That meant something.

People like him thought they were above everything. That they could kick, hit, crush, and walk away without looking back. That their power was endless. That fear made them untouchable.

But the thing about untouchables?

They always slip.

They always fall.

And when they do, there's no one left to catch them.

Rule No. 8:
Never believe in untouchables.
No matter how high they stand, everyone falls eventually.

People like them-standing at the top, acting like nothing could touch them. As if power made them invincible. As if their name alone was enough to keep them safe.

I had seen it too many times. The way people bowed their heads, bit their tongues, swallowed their anger. Out of fear. Out of habit. Out of knowing that the ones at the top never faced consequences.

But even gods fall.

Even kings bleed.

Even the untouchables have a limit.

They think their power is eternal. That their name, their money, their fear tactics will keep them above everyone else. But power isn't something you own-it's something borrowed. And borrowed things must always be returned.

Some fall slowly, piece by piece, until there's nothing left of them but the memory of their former glory.

Some fall suddenly, crashing so hard they don't even realize what happened until they hit the ground.

My house, too silent. Beak Harin was probably asleep, and my adopted parents... well, I doubted they even noticed I wasn't.

I leaned against the railing, tilting my head back. The stars were scattered across the sky-calm, untouchable. There was something comforting about that.

Then-

A soft vibration in my hand.

I glanced down at my phone. A message.

Yun Ga-Min: Are you awake?

I hesitated before replying.

Me: No.

A second later, another message popped up.

Yun Ga-Min: Oh, good. Then I'm not disturbing you.

My lips twitched slightly. He was so... oblivious.

Me: What do you need?

Yun Ga-Min: Did you know that crows can recognize human faces and even hold grudges?

I blinked at the screen.

Me: ...Why are you telling me this?

Yun Ga-Min: Just something I read. Anyway, about your teleportation ability-
