She was a joyous and hopeful soul
Only because her heart's been broken
Her father left her shattered family alone
But she smiled despite her situation
She stood as a light to the blind and hopeless
Loved the meek, bedraggled and the poor
Remained by the side of the bedraggled;
The ragamuffins; the crippled warriors
Her ambition was a lovesong from Love
Her passion was an expression of faith
Her hope was the peace of the city on a hill
And her joy was to embrace the aching soul
