Why God [Poem]

Remind me tonight, again

Lord, why was I born?

Remind me again, this night

What is there to love in me?

Remind me why I breathe

I do all that I hate and am weak

Remind me why you won't kill me?

Everything becomes ashes to my touch

As I watch my friends, my brothers, my dad

Turning around and refusing to speak to me

Will you do this to me as well?

Will you abandon me too?

Will you say "no more, I wash my hands of you"

And leave me here to cry?

I can't be happy anymore...

I can't laugh, I can't pretend...

No, I'm not okay here anymore

and I don't think I'll ever be

Was I made to just be alone?

Will you ignore my cries?

Am I a wimp in your sight too

With no reason for me to cry?

Please don't look at me like they do

I just might break and perish if you did
