My father left me so many times
And what pieces of me that he left
Is where another man stepped up
By this the Lord revealed to me
What unconditional love truly is
Through my new daddy I saw Jesus' love
And I learned to run to my Abba
When I was scared, sad, alone, hurt
And when I learned to trust in God
I proclaimed I wanted to be just like Him
Abba, Abba I want to be like You
I want to talk like You, look like You
Love like You, and reflect You more
I want to know You more each day
I want to be one filled with Your Spirit!
