Is anyone out there at all?
Can anyone hear our screams?
The cars roar and sirens call
We weep and wonder at night
Can we even be loved at all?
If there is a God out there
Please hear our cries and callsAm I really a Christian, Lord?
I hear the screams and the cries
The infants have been murdered
I listen to the Satan's lies
But I go on as normal
And mute your saddened sighsIs anyone out there to hear
The cries of a lonely heart
Is anyone here and near
To give us all a brave new start
Must we carry on like this?
Or might we make a mark
