Be Thou my vision, my vision to love
My wife the way that You have loved me
Be my peace in this house when I have none
And as I raise my children the way You'd have me
Let it be Your name that's on my heart and my lips
Be Thou my wisdom, oh Jesus my Lord
Speak through my mouth to these wee young ones
Be my courage to face this next day in Your Word
And come home to my husband with the peace of the Son
O, let it be Your ways that guides me in my steps
Be Thou our battle sword and war shield
To protect one another each day
Aid us in guiding our children to stand and wield
The sword of the spirit; ever to walk in Your ways
To let it be that through them Your will would be done
