Britannica was sitting down as she looked around. She couldn't believe it, she had saw that someone had turned into an object (see Book 4 for more context), Ethereal was gone, forever, and there's nothing that she or anyone else can do about it. How could anyone be such a fool to let someone as wise as Ethereal fall?

"Sis, I don't think Ethereal would want us to mope around over what happened to her? She wants us to move forward and defeat the enemy as well." Sarina reassured Britannica.
"Damn it, we keep on losing all our allies, at this rate, we would be turned into an object sooner than later!" Belinda scowled.
"Don't worry, everything is going to be alright, I am pretty sure that all our friends would want us to avenge them, and I am going to make sure that there is hell to pay for that sonofabitch who took my boyfriend's humanity!" Zach scoffed, "And maybe, we can actually be free from all these transformations this once!"
"I wish that was true..." Britannica sobbed as she didn't want to be transformed into an object.

Britannica may be a very cheerful woman, being very outgoing girl who loves to eat cheesecake, and all, she didn't want to throw it all away, and what she feared more than death itself was being transformed into object, especially one that she feels it doesn't fit her entire being. But Sarina has been telling her about some research on how people turned into objects that may have the opposite gender, and opposite personality as the victim themself. Britannica didn't want to know what will become of her, or if she would even keep her mind (Spoiler Alert: oh, no, you don't!)[Soul!](Whoops, back to the story then!). Britannica then noticed that the others are coming back to the library as well.

They were all discussing what happened when they've all split up as well. The responses had shaken both Kyle and Belinda. Apparently, Moniqua and Solomon had transformed into objects, so did everyone that Journey brought (sans Miranda), Big Bob, and Katya and Murray. The twins were alright and were sitting down, as Zach looked at Spine.

"So, how are we going to counter them transformations?" Zach asked, "I am getting so damn tired of seeing everyone getting transformed, even here!"
"Zach, calm down, I think we can actually still manage, even if our group has dwindled!" Miranda scoffed, as she crossed her arms.
"No! No! No!" Zach shouted, "It's not fair, after losing my boyfriend, it left me pretty much distraught, I thought Raanan and I, we would have pushed through together in this shitshow! All of this is Otis and his friends' fault!" 
"Look, I know that you're as angry as a bull who's saw a red towel, but it's no excuse to lash out, especially when you're not careful!" Whilmea shouted, not wanting to hear anyone's bullshit today, "The sooner we do something to make sure that these damn jewels don't fall under the wrong hands, the better!"
"Where did Mary run off to?" Belinda asked.
"I don't know, but we cannot go after her, she could be long gone by now!" Miranda scoffed, "We must keep on going for our mission, and once it is all over, we will figure out a way to transform everyone back."

However, Britannica was getting scared of what's happening to everyone around her. Suddenly, the scream within the infirmary was scaring her as well. "W-what is going on here?!" Britannica sobbed as she heard loud cracks and pops coming from the same room as well.
"I don't know, but it sounds really horrifying as well!" Barlie scoffed as she observed the horrified sound as well.

Britannica curled up in some fetal position as she looked around and noticed that there was some feminine, familiar figure looking right at the window, how did Gaia found her? Shit! Britannica was sobbing as she didn't want to be next, she knew that everything was going to fall apart, but then, as she gotten up, she had to eventually confront her sister as well.
