Prologue 2/2: Who's New In Mountain Town

Kyle Floater was driving through the highway, surrounded by dense vegetation. Kyle still vividly remembered returning to his dorm back in 2019, with Benson to be nowhere to be found. Kyle knew that he had to look for the motel. Kyle has been driving for what seems to be for miles, yet, he hasn't seen Mountain Town yet.

Kyle knew that he has to make sure that Sarina and Britannica are safe, these two people who are very close to Gaia, yet the said woman hates them. Also, Kyle personally knows the sisters Myers. Suddenly, Kyle noticed that there was a woman, residing in a tent. She waved at Kyle, trying to stop him in his tracks.

Kyle then stopped the car.

"Ma'am, is there anything that's so damn obligatory that you have to stop me?!" Kyle asked.
The woman, wearing hiker clothes, looked up and she had haunting white eyes, and is holding a jewel with red, yellow, green, and blue colors, "I'm here for a reason... take this and use this whenever it is necessary."
"Okay. If it is to help me with the whole Mountain Town adventure thingy, then thank you." Kyle sighed.
"Well, I know where Mountain Town is, it's just right around the corner, just keep driving and read the signs." The hiker lady replied...

...

...And with a puff of smoke, Kyle coughed and coughed, before the puff of smoke is gone along with the hiker and all the camping equipment.

"Has anyone else gotten that?!" Kyle asked.

Meanwhile in Mountain Town...

"Hey, Bolivar, how's things been with Bolero?" Cooper asked.
"It's been doing great! I have heard that he has gotten a great internship with video games. I wish I could help program things though." Bolivar was sitting in the table of an outdoor restaurant, having his laptop with his programming app on the interface, "Yep, nothing like programming. One of these days, I want Bolero and myself to develop a videogame."
"Wait, what?!" Cooper asked, "I have this case filled with posters of the fest that's going to happen later this week!"

While these two were talking up a storm, Savanna was heading over towards the shop with antique snowglobes.
"Ooh~! Look! More snowglobes to collect!" Savanna smiled, with the glee of a collector.
"Well, I don't get your weird hobby, I'm going to watch a movie with Teena instead!" Pavlina scoffed, "I've already brought some popcorn to the Vixen residence, and I'm going to watch movies from their house!"
"Wait, what?!" Savanna scoffed, "Have you even had fun, Teena is such a television addict, they aren't going to be as fun as my collecting activities!"
"In that case, go ahead and enjoy your collection!" Pavlina then rolled her eyes and walked away from Savanna.

"Aw, come on!" Savanna scoffed.
"Don't give them a time of the day, they don't deserve it!" Tiffany, the one-eyed antique shop owner and cashier, smiled.
"Thank you Tiffany." Savanna replied, "Can I buy this snowglobe for my collection?"

While Savanna was purchasing another snowglobe, Tootie was getting a dentist appointment, from eating too much candy and having a toothache. And Chesberry and Memphis were both watching.

"I told you that Tootie eating too much candy would lead her there." Chesberry scoffed, "Yet, it's not very interesting to watch get her teeth healed up."
"Yuck! Do you want to see what watermelons my father is selling this time?" Memphis asked.
"No, and I don't think that fruit is ripe during this time of the year anyways, perhaps somewhere in the south, perhaps in the summertime?" Chesberry asked.
"You act like you know all your botany and crops, don't you?" Memphis scoffed.
"Well, I want to help you sell fruit one of these days, Memphis!" Chesberry scoffed.
