Clay Timberlake, 23, had just left the building after Glaze had gotten transformed into an object, a globe to be exact. His heart was racing as his mind was wandering, thinking so many thoughts in his head.

What kind of inventions did Gaia used to make sure that people turned into objects?

Never in my life, let alone my Inventor career, I have seen anything like it!

Gaia must be a genius for using such inventions.

Clay knew that he had to carry on Glaze's wishes, or their sacrifice would all be in vain. It was strange that he had lost both friends to the transformations, but he had to carry on, he had to do it for Bolivar, Glaze, and his cousin Clyde, who had disappeared back in 2019.

Clay was going to make things right, and he knew where to start, he knew that Packer was at the bakery right now, making pies to sell. Clay went inside of his car and made sure that Gaia hasn't gotten to him either.

Clay turned on some radio, the news because he didn't really like music anyways, he felt it was a distraction to serious driving, and the dire situation was very serious.

"Time is of the essence, Clay, you have to make sure that you don't become one of them. Don't worry, Gaia is probably sending Glaze to whereever she's headed, but it'd be foolish to follow Gaia, it'd mean risking your humanity to see where she takes the transformed to." Clay was talking to himself.

On the radio, there was news about people disappearing in Mountain Town. He has also heard of the disappearances at the other towns too. College students disappearing from Eldenburg? Madman causing disappearances at Oceanside? Local therapist in hiding after incident at Woodland? Inn's closure being prolonged at Cedarborough after an incident there? What the hell is wrong with people these days? There was even volcano watch for an island that far away from here. Jackal City, even had reports about people disappearing and families being torn apart because of this.

Clay couldn't lay a finger on what's really going on, but no matter, he's nearing the bakery and he wanted to avoid going on a tangent and end up going through a car accident. Clay parked the car nearby the bakery and opened the door, looking for Packer.

"Packer? Are you in there? I have heard that Gaia has been trying to target us and turn us into objects." Clay asked.

Suddenly, Packer came in, with a freshly baked pumpkin pie, "Clay, it's been a while since I have saw you. You seem to be serious when you said that we are being targeted, right?"
"Yes." Clay replied.
"Well, even if the idea of being turned into an object sounds crazy, I think that it might be an explanation on why Tootie hasn't been buying my delicious pies lately." Packer sighed.
"Wait, you know Tootie?!" Clay asked, "I thought you'd not know her?"
"Well, she was one of my most valued customers I ever had, and Gaia, is that her name, ripped her away from me, isn't that right?" Packer sighed.
"It's not your fault, Tootie had been lured by the promise of free sweets, that's what we can all guess." Clay replied.
"Well, I think that people being turned into objects could be... well, endangering us all." Packer replied, "I am lucky that I still have Britannica to keep things afloat because she comes for my pumpkin cheesecakes, and other kinds as well. And believe it or not, cheesecakes are actually pies, not cakes."
"Well, good for you, just... stay out of trouble and out of Gaia's sight, she will turn you into an object at any opportunity she sees!" Clay replied before walking away, looking at the next people to warn.
