Prologue 1/2: Operation Host Takedown
[Warning: This Chapter Contains Evil Plots, Alcohol, and Strong Language. You have been warned.]
20 April 2022
It has been almost a year since Craig had transformed into an object, the host of his favorite object show, Open Source Objects. It was a horrifying sight to see and they were all having a meeting about their plans for their transformative endeavors.
"So, what do you think about the game I will be allowing around fifteen people to test it!" Colleen giggled as she looked right at the others.
Gaia rolled her eyes, "At least you don't have two sisters who are annoying as fuck, I am going to destroy their lives, and the lives of those around them... cause the town to burn to the ground."
"Things in Tabitha's school still hasn't been great as of late, she has been being bullied by the other students and one of the parents, Macey Buckett, has been letting her daughter, Laura, cause trouble with Tabitha." Courtney scoffed.
"Oh, please, wasn't Tabitha just a girl you adopted after both her parents, Melanie and Craig, have transformed into objects?" Francine asked.
"Yes, but I am still afraid that Tabitha might go berserk if she goes past that breaking point, if those tormentors, also known as the whole school, go too far." Courtney scoffed, "But I am willing to help her get revenge on those bastards!"
"So, that aside, my small town should be enough to make my show, HFJONE, real." Aiden replied.
"You are right, so, what are you planning?" Otis asked.
"I am going to offer services to help them become something greater than themselves, at the cost of their humanity." Aiden added.
"Alright, so, for myself, I believe that I have a convoluted plan for my transformations, it is kind of like the incidents back in 2017, but this time, it would be objects and actions that will have a trigger. You eat it, you become it. You touch it, you become it!" Otis let out a chuckle, "And I will be delivering things in an order called my TF-list!"
"Hey, what about me and Lucas? Can we show pictures of the culture of Ahi Village, it's a village on Ahi Island. It's wonderful." Francine smiled, "So, I have changed my mind, and just have the tourists arrive and if they happen to
misbehave, boom! Transform them into objects."
"We have decided to conserve the island's native culture." Lucas added.
"That's good, so, how many tourists are you going to invite?" Gertrude asked.
"29." Francine nodded in agreement.
"Now as for me, I have already started my subsidiary, now all I am looking for is some employees to orient and repurpose them into objects... with an unbreakable contract!" Gertrude snickered, "So, there is a toast to making our favorite object shows real, it would be a shame if anything goes wrong."
Then everyone then began to drink their cocktails after clinking glasses.

Meanwhile with Evan...
Evan was standing in front of a few people who he recruited to stop the League of Hosts. The room seemed to be so dim, and the projector was shining bright onto the screen, showing the title slide for the League of Hosts and their plans.
"Alright, following the incident that happened back in both Deerville and Barkfield, we have all figured out that there was an organization called League of Hosts, a very dangerous one hellbent on transforming people into object show characters, my old friend Goldiva and my newest friend, Whilmea Wheeler, has been discussing things about their plans to make their favorite object shows as well." Evan began, "Firstly, let us discuss Colleen Royse, the BOTO superfan who is making a game... talented at game development and making hyperrealistic experiences for everyone. Don't be fooled by her mission of entertainment, though, she'd be having 15 people testing this game. She'd be helding a game testing internship at Cedarborough, she has a website online to get an invitation for that, it's called Brilliant Observers Through Obscurity, it has a form to fill out, Skeeter Cutts, are you willing to take on this mission?"
"Yes, I am, and Doodles will be my protector, he will protect me until the end!" Skeeter smiled.
"Next, Gaia Myers, she grew up in Mountain Town, and she is going to take her anger towards it out to its people, Kyle Floater, your job is to make sure that Gaia calls it off and make sure she is stopped." Evan added.
"You got it, Evan, I will diffuse the situation faster than you think!" Kyle smiled.
"Next, is Eldenburg, this is where Courtney and her child, Tabitha lives at. Tabitha also attends the University of Eldenburg, where there is, like University of Deerville, a history of severe bullying going on. Belinda Bayne, your job is to defend Tabitha from bullying, and help her avoid going down a dark path, because she has been severely bullied, as reports are concerned." Evan added.
"Yeah, I can't believe that I am going to protect one of the crazies' child from danger! And can't they just call the cops on those bullies?" Belinda asked.
"No, you'll find out why, Belinda... just do your job." Evan sighed, "So, next person is Aiden Reid, he now lives in Woodland, and he is going to offer service. He is often the type of person who thinks that existence is pointless, yet it can be warped into something ridiculous... I don't know what this philosophy is called, but I want you to investigate these services and warn anyone about it. Do you have what it takes, Barlie Packer?"
"Yes, I have what it takes." Barlie replied.
"Otis Dooley, Oceanside, he is planning to repeat the incidents of 2017, although it won't be through screens, it will be through everyday objects." Evan paused, "Do you have what it takes to stop Otis, Poyler Stickley?"
"Yes, I do have what it takes!" Poyler replied, pointing at themself with their thumb.
"As for Francine Heder and Lucas Keyes, they are planning to turn tourists into objects on an island called Ahi Island. Do you have what it takes to stop these two trouble makers, Paco Painter?" Evan added.
"Sir, yes, sir! I have what it takes!" Paco replied.
"Well, and finally, who I suspect to be the leader of this group, Gertrude Ibanez, she had opened up a subsidiary for her company, and all employees hired will be subject to mandatory repurposing, which means it will be transformation. Do you have what it takes to stop her from repurposing you, Journey Null?" Evan added.
"Yes, I understand, Evan, I understand that we are going to prevent transformations all over this place, hopefully get those guys behind bars!" Journey replied.
"Alright then, now for other information about them. Each of the members' allegiance is to the hosts of their favorite show, and their goal is to be them and host their favorite shows, we cannot let that happen, there are other members of the League of Hosts, so, taking down the aforementioned won't take down the League itself, we are still looking into who else is part of the League of Hosts." Evan replied, "Now, I will have someone send you the details about your mission, through analog means. Now, you can all leave and enjoy your day, get packing as well."
