Payne Alpena, 23, loved arts and crafts. Hours had past since Connor had transformed into an object, and Payne was too busy to pay attention to that kind of stuff.

That's how entuned into arts and crafts she is into. She was also great friends with Ciara and Mary, all of them being very creative people. Payne was preparing masks for Mary's upcoming masquerade party, and Mary was watching Payne make masks of different shapes and sizes, for each of the guests to try on.

"Wow, that's some nice art here, Payne~!" Mary smiled as she was a huge patron of the arts, and an artist herself as well. Mary wanted this party to be spectacular.
"Hey, Mary, have you heard about this Gaia chic entering this town and disappearances have been starting since then?!" Ciara asked, being one of the few people who have been paying attention to the news and all.
"I know about that, and I know all about Gaia's obsession with Object Overload as well! It's repulsive!" Mary scoffed, "Anyways, that's not the reason why I didn't invite her, the reason why is that I couldn't contact her."

Lilac, another one of Mary's friends, interjected, just got done smoking a cigarette and coming inside, "I think that might be a huge mistake, Mary. Do you remember what happened in Deerville, back in 2017 where Willa literally transformed many people for the littlest of reasons, and partly because of some obsession with Battle for Dream Island, a show a few years older than Object Overload!"
"You do know your object shows, girl!" Payne smiled.
"Yep, there's been incidents happening at other towns as well!" Lilac scoffed, "I don't think moving to another town would solve shit! We have to take on this shit head on!"
"Lilac, I am too afraid to fight Gaia! She will transform you if you try to hurt her! That's a risk I am not willing to take!" Ciara scoffed.
"I know that, I mean, getting her and whoever else is involved in the turn everyone into objects scheme arrested would be a great option!" Lilac scoffed, "Maybe Mary can use her party to spread awareness about this issue that not just Mountain Town, but all the other towns, are facing!"
"Well, what's the chance of Gaia finding out about this kind of stuff?" Ciara asked.
"Well, I don't know how much of a chance we would have for just the four of us, but if we have enough people with us, we can have each chance to beat Gaia once and for all." Lilac replied.

Meanwhile with Sarina...

Sarina, Britannica and Kyle were walking over towards the room where Mary and them were at.

"Alright, be careful, Mary might not tolerate a whole lot of noise at once, she is focusing on planning her party." Sarina sighed.
"Sis, why would you bring us to her out of all people? Why can't we get Tiffany's help instead?" Britannica asked.
"Well, Tiffany tends to resort to violence, and I don't see violence as the answer." Sarina scoffed, "Also, art can actually prove to be more powerful than outright violence."
"Well, when are we finally going to get more allies?" Kyle asked, "I am asking because we need as many people as we can."
Sarina sighed, "About... now!" Sarina knocked on the door, "Mary, open up, it's me, Sarina!"

Mary answered the door as she noticed that Sarina, Britannica and Kyle were here, "Hello, what brings you here~?"
"Well, there's been transformation incidents because Gaia had returned after so many years!" Sarina told everyone.
"I knew it! And I knew that someone would finally get me!" Lilac shouted.
"Well, I am glad that there's someone who's aware of the transformations!" Kyle smiled.
"Thank you three for getting me!" Lilac smirked.
"Well, anyone in this room can get transformed at any moment, anyone can be targets!" Sarina scoffed.
"Wait, really, I just hope that it isn't really me!" Lilac scoffed as she looked at the trio.
"So, are you really going to let Gaia transform you?" Britannica asked.
"No, I am not, because I have a life to get to anyways. Don't we all?!" Lilac scoffed.
"Thank goodness, I thought everyone around here was ignorant of what's really going on here!" Britannica sighed in relief.
"Well, we might watch our backs to make sure that Gaia doesn't turn us into objects anyways." Ciara smirked at the trio.
"Well, we might as well find more people to warn, maybe with enough of us, we can actually stop Gaia once and for all." Sarina was about to leave with Kyle and Britannica, but before they can do so, the lights went out as everyone had heard a scream.
