Suddenly, upon whim, the trio had entered a room where Kyle and the Myers twins were sitting at as well.
"Hey, Flynn! How ya doing?!" Britannica smiled as she looked at the brothers Swanson as well.
"Oh, hey, I'm surprised that you two have survived, even if you're Gaia's sisters and whatnot!" Flynn scoffed.
"Well, we are smarter than Gaia, and maybe she's saving us for later... but for now, we have to save ourselves before it's too late." Sarina sighed, "Also, we have came in contact with Mary to see if she knows anyone else who are still survivors."
"Oh, right, so, I am friends with Miranda and Ethereal, I don't know what happened with Roko the last time we have met, but we will find out soon. Both have found out that the League of Hosts are planning to go to another realm, Hellscape, we need as many of us as possible if we want to have a chance to stop them from ever fulfilling their sick, twisted desires."
"How do you know about these guys?" Caviezel asked.
"I do really need to know." Kyle added.
"Well, Miranda was one of my students before she headed off to college, and Ethereal was one of my best friends, we are even the same age as well!" Mary smiled, "And I used to be a drama and stagecraft teacher at Deerville before it collapsed, as a side job to my two careers."
"That sounds amazing, I am sad that you had lost a job due to those incidents!" Britannica sobbed.
"Well, I cannot afford anyone else transforming today, we all need to stop them before it is too late!" Mary sighed.
Then Mary noticed that Caviezel was looking through the window, looking at some strange, candy merchant.
"Brother, look, candy! I want to eat some of it!" Caviezel smiled as he was about to get the free candy all to himself.
"No, Caviezel! You're not going to get that candy, what if it is laced with some transformative serum?!" Flynn cried out as he didn't want to lose his brother either.
"Does it look like I care? It's free candy!" Caviezel smiled as he didn't care what Flynn said. Flynn didn't care any other time, so, why would Caviezel care about what's put in the stray box of candy that the mysterious merchant place on Mary's doormat, and how did they know Mary's address as well?
Caviezel walked out of the room and headed over towards the box, not knowing that the merchant was watching him like a hawk. Caviezel grabbed the box of candy and ran up the stairs and back to the room, not suspecting that the woman would follow him to the room where all the other survivors are hiding at, as Caviezel was about to enter the room, yet, someone has locked the door on him, and it was no accident either.
"Hey! Let me in, you bozos! Why did you lock the door?!" Caviezel asked.
"You have grabbed that box of candy and we aren't taking any chances of getting infected by the candy ourselves, sorry!" Britannica replied.
"You're not going to spread the transformation on us all!" Sarina scoffed.
Caviezel couldn't believe it, he was locked out, "Flynn, let me in! I just want to eat some candy!"
Flynn then opened the curtain, "Please don't eat the candy, you're not going to be turned into an object under my watch, that woman out there looks very, very suspicious, I don't trust candy from strangers, especially from her!"
"Oh, you all have every right not to trust me!" The merchant snickered as she took off her hat, letting her blonde hair down.
"You!" Flynn shouted, "Get away from my brother this instant!"
"It's too bad, because Caviezel isn't going to listen to you when it comes to candy~!" Gaia snickered as she already noticed that Caviezel was already eating one of the pieces of candy, that of being a peppermint, Caviezel failed to noticed that it was already changing him as well. There was already black blotches beginning to grow on his arms and hands, as Caviezel could feel his fingers beginning to merge together and his hands beginning to ball up into little spheres as well.
"W-what the hell?!" Caviezel then finally noticed that his hands were already changing as he dropped the box of candy.
"Do you like it?!" Gaia snickered, as she inched closer towards Caviezel.
"No! Don't get any closer to me, stay away!" Caviezel cried out as he could feel his hands now being perfect spheres as his arms were beginning to grow thinner and thinner as he could feel bones were getting crushed under the squeezing pressure that the black substance coating his arms were already making.
Flynn cried out, "No! Caviezel! Please fight it!"
"I'm... trying..." Caviezel sobbed as his arms were now as thin as wires as the same black substance was also coating is legs as well, as they were squeezing at his legs, making them thinner and thinner as the hairs on his limbs were receding back into his pores, as he could feel them becoming inhumanly smooth... so alien.
"There's no need to listen to your brother, there's no need to fight it, Candy!" Gaia had a wide grin plastered on her face as Caviezel continued to struggle from his transformation, as he could feel his red and white sneakers beginning to feel painfully tight, as his feet were swelling and tearing through the seams as well.
