Back with Peirce...

"Well, so, do you really think that Gaia might be after us?" Maxine asked.
"Yes, that's why we really need to be careful about what we do! What we do matters here!" Peirce replied.

Maxine looked around before she noticed the lights were beginning to flicker and heard a rumbling sounds. Peirce was suspicious that Gaia might be nearby.
"What the hell?!" Peirce asked, "Why are my pearls are literally shaking, why the shelves are shaking as well?!"
"I don't know but, we have to run!" Maxine cried out, grabbing Peirce's hand as she ran over towards the front door, trying to open it...

...

...But it was locked. Was Gaia trapping them in there, to force the transformation to happen no matter what?

Peirce looked at Maxine, "I think that Gaia is doing all this?"
Maxine replied, "But, I can't lose you! She will kidnap you and make you an addition to her collection of objects!"
"What the hell?! Is that what Gaia is doing to us?!" Peirce asked, "Turning us into little collectors?!"

Suddenly, the pearls were falling onto the ground and rolling towards Peirce, who was hugging Maxine for comfort.
"Maxine! Find another exit! We have to get out of here!" Peirce cried out.
"Okay, let's run over towards the other exits, check them if we are really trapped." Maxine grabbed Peirce's hand as she ran over towards the other doors, checking them. The back door, locked, the bedroom door locked, even the windows are locked.

Suddenly, Maxine looked at the pearls, which were beginning to aim at Peirce. Maxine was literally looking for a way to bypass any of the locks, so they can both exit and escape their transformations. However, before Maxine could figure out where the crowbar might be, pearls shot at Peirce, who screamed in agony.

Maxine cried out, "Peirce, no!" She noted blackness was beginning to crawl up Peirce's hands, fingers merging together.
"W-what the hell is going on h-here?!" Peirce asked herself as her hands forced themselves into fists, another layer of blackness wrapping around her hands and CRUSHING them into little spheres, the blackness then began to spread up the arms as well, as bones were cracking and popping, arms growing thinner and thinner as bones were getting crushed. Her arms were now wire-thin as tears were streaming down her cheeks.

As Peirce was trembling, looking her objectified hands, she could feel her legs grow thinner and thinner as well, blackness spreading down as she could feel bones getting crushed, fat and muscle being leeched away by the black substance that was eating away at the flesh tone. Peirce could feel her feet cracking and popping as her coral pink house shoes were literally popping open, tearing at the seams as the feet were bloating into semispheres, toes merging together.

"So... y-you are turning into one of them?!" Maxine sobbed, tears streaming down her cheeks, just like Peirce's cheeks was now stained with salty tears. Peirce then felt a sharp jolt within her nether regions, a throbbing sensation as her womanhood was shriveling up into nothingness. Peirce screamed before the pain subsided, making her now technically genderless, although she is still a female.

"Maxine... please... figure out a way out of here... I can't let you get transformed too..." Peirce whimpered as her innards cracked and popped, her bones getting crushed and her organs getting squished as well. Violent snaps and squelching can be heard, as Peirce vomited with blood and chunks of her innards spilling onto the floor.

"B-but, I cannot... leave you there... Peirce..." Maxine sobbed, refusing to leave, as the warmth of Peirce's skin was fading away, her skin turning a blush pink color and hardening into some jewel material, still retaining the smoothness, but becoming really shiny, "If y-you are really becoming a... pearl... then... I want to keep you safe..."
"You can't... keep me safe from the transformation..." Peirce sobbed, "...Gaia will transform you too... she will kidnap us both..." Peirce could feel her body beginning to compress itself as her curves were dissipating, making her body grow simpler and simpler, as she could feel her body slowly beginning to become a sphere, shrinking down. The pressure was too much, as her strawberry blonde hair was falling out, as she could feel her neck cracking, popping and collapsing on itself. With a violent SNAP, her neck was gone, forcing her head to be lodged onto her torso as she feel the CEPHALOTHORAX coming in!

Peirce could feel her head shoving right into her torso, as she could feel her innards now being solid freshwater pearl, her nose was shoved back into her face as her ears folded back into her face as well. The last strands of her beautiful locks had fallen out as Peirce looked at Maxine with teary and slowly darkening eyes. The bright, ocean blue eyes were turning into a magnificent black color, being as dark as night, yet her eyelashes turned into fake ones, becoming eyelash extensions as a result, making it seem like she still had eyelashes. Other than that, her eyes were now little beads as well, indistinguishable from the ones that objects have.

"Maxine... p-please... just... save yourself... live on for me...." Peirce sobbed as she could feel her jaw becoming sore, blood gushing from her gums as her teeth was flattening, merging together, tinging a pure white color, as she could feel her teeth becoming two rows of perfectly aligned rectangular teeth. She could feel her tongue turning into a brighter pink color, her mouth becoming as black as a void, and her lips being reduced into a simple black line. With a few more coughs and adjustments, Peirce's transformation into a sapient freshwater pearl was now complete.

"I am not leaving you behind, not when your are more than just my best friend!" Maxine replied.
"Please... go before it is too late... before Gaia comes in and transforms you too!" Peirce cried out.
"Well, I..." Maxine sobbed.
Suddenly, Peirce was screaming in agony as she could feel a headache from Hell itself emerging from nowhere, as she could feel her mind beginning to alter.

Peircy could feel her old, human memories beginning to leave her as she could feel the very concept of a human being leaving her as well. Maxine? Say hello to being simped for by Marble.

"P-please... I don't want to forget..." Peirly cried out as she could feel more and more of her old memories leaving her. Collecting pearls, gone. High-school, more like bye-school. College? Nope, not happening. Mountain Town? The last time she checked, she lived in Animania.

It was all coming back to her, she remembered competing on Object Overload back in 2013. She remembered being best friends with Melony and Ping-Pong Ball, and liking Marble as a friend

With the last shreds of her old identity being ripped away from her grasp, Peirce Oyester was now dead to the world, replaced by Pearly.
"Peirce, if you still have a teeny, tiny bit of you left... please... say something..." Maxine sobbed.
"Who's Peirce? And who are you?" Pearly asked.

Suddenly, the door opened, someone had picked the lock to the front door, and footsteps can be heard.

Suddenly, Maxine looked up, with teary eyes as she sobbed, "You! You bitch! What have you done to Peirce?!"
"I just turned her into an object, just like I am about to do to you..." Gaia snickered...

...

..."Marble. How about you join your precious little Pearly?! I heard you'd two would make a very great couple, and would be better as an object!"
