All along there were an invisible string tying you to me

It had been days since the incident and I still haven't talked to him. I also have avoided Dawson best I can.

But that's all that was on my mind. I really didn't know what to think about it. I really didn't, it was strange to me.

Dawson stands at my door.

"I'm going out and staying the night out in our old playhouse with Pacey tonight" he warns me.

"Sounds good" I shrug him off and continue to read.

Tonight? With Pacey? What's Pacey going to say?

The phone rings, Dawson runs and picks it up.

"Daphne, it's for you" he yells to me.

"Who is it" I yell from my bed.

"It's Jen" he yells back.

I get out of the bed I haven't left for days and walk over to the phone.

"Hello" I ask.

"Hey Daph" I hear many voices say.

"Hello" I say confused.

"Daphne listen" Jen becomes the main voice. "You should come over and have a girls night with us."

"Who is it?"

"Joey, Andie, and I" she tells me.

Oh my god, I didn't even think about Andie. How would she react? What would happen?

"Umm" I linger.

"Come on" they all say.

"Fine" I give in. "I'll be over in a second."

They hang up, I get myself a bit better looking. I also get my stuff together.

I mean I could use a little girl time, who knows.

I walk over and we are all in Jen's room.

I sit on the floor as the rest of them do.

They all have face masks and other things on.

"I just miss being able to do stuff like when we were kids" Andie says as if they already were having a conversation I missed.
