All along there were an invisible string tying you to me

"Come on Daphne" he says. "Just cover for me tonight."

I saw Dawson sneaking out his window, he needs some sort of alibi.

"Why would I do that?"

"Cause I need you to do this" he pleads.

I hated that I would have to lie, but I decide to agree.

"Fine, go" I shoo him off.

I wasn't sure where he was going, but then again I really didn't care.

I go back to my room where I see Jen waiting, she seems cold and annoyed.

"You will not believe what happened" she sighs.

"What?"

"Jack just tried to set me up with the freshman."

She explains to me that Jack told Jen to meet her at their spot, but put Henry there instead. She got mad and came to my house.

"That's dumb of them" I tell her.

"He needs to just ask me" she falls back against my bed.

"How about you stay here tonight" I ask.

I lay out my extra bed and she stays the night. It was the weekend anyways, so it's not like my dad would object. But I ask him anyways.

We wake up the next morning and watch tv in the living room. Then I hear a knock at my door.

It's Pacey.

"He's upstairs, but he's sleeping. He was out late."

"Okay. Well anyways you won't believe what I just heard. Andie is going out with someone."

"She is?"

"She is" Jen pops in. "With Joeys boss."

"Gross" I admit.

"Well I didn't know I could move on now, I waited for as long as I did out of courtesy. I was waiting about another month or so too, I didn't want to make her feel bad. This is so unfair" he says plopping himself on the couch.

"Did you even want to move on yet" I ask him.

"Well I don't know, but it would have been nice if I knew I could" he says.
